What is the new normal going to look like?

Morning fellow CTP Talkers and Steemians,

The big question, what is the new normal on this planet going to look like?

I know a lot of people don't agree with me but for the first time in my 50 plus years I am afraid, afraid of a virus. Not what it can do to me but what it can do to others. And it always, always comes down to loved ones.

The world is changing because of COVID-19 but the question is how are we going to live our lives in the "New Normal".

One thing is for sure, I am truly thankful for CTP Talk and Steem.

This is something I have control over, instead of out buying up toilet paper, I can sit in front of my computer and type. I can let people know how I am feeling, I can be part of a community. It does not matter what happens. If I, or anyone else, blogging, are having to self isolate, or if they are quarantined. Depending on where you live.

And we thought the TRON/JS take over attempt was bad! lol

I will say it again, I am thankful, I want to thank @jongolson from bring Click Track Profit back, thank him for bringing it to the blockchain, to steem, for building the best community out there in CTP Talk. I would be lost now without it.

It is giving me focus. A place to rant. A place to put out my feelings when I need to, even when others do not want to read them. lol.

I guess what I am trying to say, my life changed (for the better) a little over seven months ago when I came to CTP Talk and Steem and if you have not figured it out yet I am very thankful.

So what advice can I give, this one man in over 8 billion people on this planet? Stay calm and listen to people in the know, if that is online or in the offline world.

Now that I have that out of my system I will move on to the markets.

CTP token continues it rally.

Steem took a little hit over night: $0.180069 USD (-14.59%) 0.00002427 BTC (-9.54%)

Tron has been about the same since I been watching it: $0.013491 USD (-9.93%) 0.00000182 BTC (-4.60%)

Bitcoiin, well I think the world is panic selling just like the Stock Markets: $7,420.83 USD (-5.59%)

So what am I going to do in the new normal? I am going to try and stay positive. POSITIVE. And I am going to continue my online routine. I hope you can do the same.

Let me have a look at COVID-19

But the end of all things has drawn near. Therefore be sober-minded and be sober unto prayers.(1 Peter 4:7)

Question from the Bible, Is there such a thing as untimely death in the Bible?

I am very glad you are here Bradley, and I do think the world will be ok just as Zoltan said, as to the virus cases here in Sweden they won't even test you unless you need hospital care, test kits are in low supply all over Europe, so the non reported cases should be pretty high, and all reports also points to a lot of cases where people did not even know it was this virus, stay awesome.

Hi Bradley,
Yes, it's pretty crazy! I have 3 sisters who were all supposed to be visiting this month. 2 of them are in Los Angeles, CA and the other one is here in Wisconsin but 2 hours away in Madison. Our parents are elderly, both of them being in their mid and late 80s. My mother who will be 86 at the end of this month really struggles with her health and that was the concern of my sisters visiting and not knowing if they have been exposed to anything that my mom could catch. Our Dad is 89 and has his own health issues. My husband and I are homebodies anyway so our lifestyle hasn't changed very much at all. As you said, our loved ones are the ones we are the ones about whom we are concerned. The whole University of Wisconsin system has shut down and the students will be leaving the dormitories on campus as well. Yes, I love my life online! But it will be great when all of this gets sorted out. In the meantime, we can just focus on what we can control and not freak out about what we can't. Sending good thoughts to you and your wife.

It is only the things you have control over @bradleyarrow that you should worry. But still be vigilant and cautious with your own health needs. I have several health issues, so keeping myself healthy is first and foremost. And being over the age of 60 is supposedly more susceptible, so I'm that category.

You are correct in that we can be thankful for Steem. But most importantly all the Communities and groups who attempt to make this space a better environment for engagement.
