Money Saving Tip #4

This probably should have been my first tip, but it wasn't.

I remembered reading a money saving tips thing that said someone should keep track of all spending for a month on paper.

Writing down everything you pay or spend money on is hard to do and I forgot something that is a yearly expense.

The whole process takes time each day even if you have receipts for everything which I didn't.

It is sometimes surprising what I spend money on and how much it adds up to at the end of a month.

Some bills are not the same every month like PG&E (gas & electric for the home), or food costs depending on how much someone eats out during any given month.

Which brings me to what I was really going to write about for a tip tonight.

Food, especially fast food or eating in a restaurant, can be very expensive. If you factor in the gas and or electricity to cook at home and the hot water to do the dishes and other costs of making your food at home then it could be less sometimes to get something while you're out.

Sometimes I just eat a baloney sandwich with a drink or a couple cheap hot dogs with pork & beans and a drink. But I do like a good burger or other more expensive things once in awhile.

I don't cook every day and I try to limit the expensive things I eat so I won't be spending a lot of money on food but it is hard sometimes especially when some food items keep going up and up like ground beef, and forget about steak.

In conclusion, each person should decide what's more important when buying anything, including food.

Because I want to have more money to invest in BTC, STEEM, CTP, LEO and other crypto :-)
I read something in a comment on someone elses' post that using certain hashtags on any posts that are not about investing may get the "crypto" or "coin" taken away. I'm not sure how it would get taken away after awarded but I am trying to talk about saving money to invest in all the crypto that I'm collecting. I also hope I have not typoed to much in my posts. I hate it when I typo.
