Never Stop Learning

Why Brunhilda? I was just enjoying some Germanic culture. My personal development includes staying sharp by teaching high schoolers in homeschool cooperatives. Monday was a pair of German 1 classes and a Physical/Earth Science class. Today was more German and Geometry.

I am more comfortable reading German than trying to converse, so this year will force me to develop and stretch my underutilized skills. The math classes keep me from forgetting all that math I worked so hard to learn (although multivariate calculus remains forgotten.)

What could you do today that would maintain or revive old skills or develop new ones? Consider a language to expand your horizons.

I live on the border with Mexico, I took four years of Spanish in college... and do you think I can converse in Spanish easily? Some days yes, some days no... I've been told that that is part of my learning disability, although I do wonder WHY is comes and goes... Some days, my cleaning lady and I can communicate easily, other days I am reduced to Gronk the caveman with hand gestures....

We stop learning when we die
Learning is a continous process. If we want to grow, we must be ready to learn
