Well, January Was An Exciting & Fun Start To The Decade! Now the BUZZ is BACK!

Back in the time of ancient history referred to by scholars as December 2019 CE, who knew that Click Track Profit would suddenly come storming back into the lives of affiliate marketers around the globe?

At the beginning of the year I wrote my goals and even turned them into a mind map. It's still good, but there is no mention anywhere of "Click Track Profit" or "Steem" - had I even heard of Steem back then?

The Old Internet Marketing Buzz Is BACK!

But once I discovered that CTP was integrating itself into a crypto blockchain I just had to check it out! One of my goals for 2020 is to build up a stash of crypto currency.

Since getting active with CTP, life has become hectic and I can feel the old buzz of excitement around affiliate marketing that I haven't really felt for a long time.

Affiliate marketing + blogging + crypto = three of my interests all combined into one dynamic package, and since I discovered what the new CTP is all about, I've pretty much torn up the playbook for this year and started again.

Fire-Pay Integration

Today, for example, I initiated the process for getting Fire-Pay onto my site, https://elitedownlinebuilder.com and spent several hours this evening editing the members area of my site, adding CTP to the downline builder and so on.

CTP Prompts Me To Be More Social

Another knock on effect of getting involved with CTP again is that I have been much more active socially - communicating with active members of my network on Webtalk, talking to people I've met here, reaching out to people on Twitter...

Never heard of Webtalk? Check it out here: https://www.webtalk.co/6657327 I use it every day. You get to control who sees your posts and it is very business friendly...

A Creative - And Disruptive - Buzz!

I can feel a real creative buzz - and one sign of it is that I keep coming up against obstacles and either have to redirect my efforts, leaving them for another day, or find a way through.

Yesterday, I got stuck filling in the application form for Fire-Pay, but to communicate effectively, I had to join Telegram. Telegram didn't seem to work on Chrome on my laptop, so I had to join on my mobile... then, once I'd joined, I was able to access it via my laptop.

In a video somewhere Jon mentioned spreading the word about Fire-Pay by requesting that site owners install it. Since CTP now works with Trafficwave and I am unable to withdraw my accumulating commissions ever since Paypal stopped working with them, I decided to ask Brian Rooney if he'd consider a crypto option for paying out commissions.

The thing is, I live in Japan and Trafficwave's other payout option is Skrill, which is not accepted in Japan at all. It is currently the only alternative to payment by cheque that Trafficwave offers. It is simply not a viable option for me to receive affiliate commissions in the form of a US cheque here in Japan.

The outcome of the conversation was not encouraging. It's easy to forget that to many - probably to most - people, crypto is not an obvious solution to the payment processor question.

Here's how it went:

Switching To My Other Life - As An English Teacher In Japan

Online business work had to pause while I went out to teach a private class. In one of my other lives I am an English teacher in Japan. I really enjoy teaching English and I've done it for many years. Rather like what CTP teaches, it's all about engagement.

I am not aiming to build a business online so that I can stop working offline. I get too much enjoyment - as well as yen - from my teaching activities to want to stop anytime soon. But it does mean life gets hectic as I have a stack of college classes as well as private students and community centre classes to serve. In 2019 I found it really difficult to develop my online business on top of a busy teaching schedule. I really admire those people who have the grit and discipline to build a profitable online business while holding down a full time job and looking after a family.

The college year is almost over here in Japan. So here's how things went earlier this week at the end of term in one of my college classes... LOL!

These students are all graduating in February and heading off to work as airline ground staff, hotel employees, or sales staff. In the video we are playing a game called Spot It! which is available on Amazon and great fun as an ice-breaker at a party.

I mean, seriously, I get paid for messing around like this. Then I came back home and got paid for blogging on CTPTalk. Life is good in 2020!

Back Online For The Evening Charge

Here's what I got done tonight when I got back online...

I edited my membership site and added ClickTrackProfit and a couple of crypto faucets to the downline builder.

One of them, https://www.thecryptofaucet.com/?r=50740 is worth checking out as you can earn Steem on it.

I have built up a small stash of cryptocurrency entirely from free accumulation methods such as crypto faucets, SFI Rewardical tokens, and affiliate commissions. With Steem, you only need to earn a few to get the ball rolling. Convert them to CTP Mining tokens and watch your CTP Tokens multiply!

What else...

I logged in to my ebook creation site and started editing my free ebook. Realized it was totally out of date and abandoned the project!

That led me to the conclusion that my primary online business blog is also out of date now. So I'm dusting off the domain davidhurley.net and will start a much more personal blog about affiliate marketing with the whole ClickTrackProfit adventure centre stage...

Well, January has been an eventful month. Back in December I had no idea I'd be where I am right now with Internet marketing, but it certainly feels like a good place to be.

I won't be around so much tomorrow as I'm teaching in the morning and playing chess at a cafe somewhere in the middle of Hiroshima in the afternoon...

Have a good weekend folks!

David Hurley

Great post, David!

It's awesome that you have invited a program owner to join us and implement crypto payments... Someones will recognize the opportunities in the right time, others don't... But, sooner, or later, they will implement crypto, because it is the future...
