Learning CTP with Howard Fullmer what is Click part 3 Instagram?

Hello Howard Fullmer here Today I am learning about Instagram. Instagram is free and own by Facebook. 

Why would affiliate marketers want to use Instagram?

1. It is a diverse demographic. 

2. It is a visual medium (think of a billboard ad).

3. Instagram Stories/ IGTV incorporates recorded and live video

4. You will have to download the app to get the full potiential of Instagram it can be downloaded on both iphone and android

5. Liking is the currency of Instagram (people look and judge how many likes you get to see if you are worth following and engaginig with)

6. You can comment and engage with content you like (the more you engage with others content the more they will engage with you)

7. Create content that is visual think infographics. Or video content. (Remember Instagram is a visual medium! think pictures, graphics, logos) These things pop and  grab attention!


Here are a few tips when posting content on Instagram

1. You can use a maximum of 30 hastags in your posts and comments. Recomended to keep your hastags out of your posts to keep it clean. But make your first comment on your own post relavant hash tags.

2. Links are not clickable within posts but you can edit your profile to put link in to get people to follow link

Great post Howy, I'm always excited learning new tricks from a fellow social median and 'grammer!

I'll bounce a couple back that you and fellow steemians may find useful:

  1. I've just followed the 20 'grammers that follow you in the hope they'll see that I follow you, and will follow me back.
  2. Feel free to follow the 105 'grammers that follow me and almost all of them will follow you back.

Btw, I'm not using my own username in the referral link as that is not ethical; to promote oneself on another person's article is just so yuck!
