100 DAYS on STEEM (A Recap of My Journey)

Today, I reached another milestone on my journey. Not too long ago, I wrote an update on my progress on the Steem blockchain.

On My 90th Day on Steem...

I talked about my RL (real life) goals as well as my goals for CTP and Steem. I'm focusing more on my Steem journey and writing a recap of the months leading to today.

First off, I would like to thank @jongolson for his constant prodding and push. When he was setting 300SP as a target during my first month on Steem, I honestly didn't think it was possible. However, I didn't want to oppose the idea, because a part of me believes this quote from Nelson Mandela:

It always seems impossible until it is done.

Before I blabber on further, let me make a recap of my months on Steem.

August 2019

I joined on the 2nd of August, because that's when I got the email that my account has been approved.

Wow! When I look back I could only imagine the feeling of being lost. Although there is a training module in CTP for Steem, I still felt like I had a thousand questions. I remember that I didn't even make a proper #introduceyourself post. Hah!

Still I was eager to learn by doing. During middle of the month, the trouble was having enough resource credit. I somehow managed by budgeting the post I would create.

My posts were seen mostly by CTP folks, but hardly anyone else outside of the tribe. I felt then that I seemed to have acquired the "power of invisibility." I have now realized that redfish and planktons have this power built into them. LOL! ^_^

September 2019

Ahh! I remember HF21 and the various speculations being thrown about before and after the event. I also remembered that Steem was down for at least a day. Quite frustrating, wasn't it?

Then, I found Steem Terminal on Discord. I won't go into details as I have already mentioned it on the past updates.

Having joined a group, I got to learn more about using tags. I also got to meet more folks outside my CTP tribe. My "power of invisibility" has waned a little, but it's still not totally gone.

I got a little more help in terms of SP delegation, so I got more resources and could create more posts. I really am thankful for this. I started doing more #freewrite during this month too.

I also learned about the Redfish Rally being held monthly for members of Steem Terminal. I made sure to sign up for October.

October 2019

The month of the Redfish Rally on Steem Terminal! Weeeee... I remembered being too excited that I was counting down the days prior to October.

I really made it a point to do more and be more for that month. I did more posting. I even came up with a daily and weekly schedule of things to write about. I set up a routine, so I wouldn't run out of ideas. It wasn't that hard, as I have been turning up daily from the start. That's one of the good things about my CTP training. We were encouraged to show up every single day. Of course, with the timezone and all, I couldn't attend any of the livestream of CTP. So I thought I would just show up on Steem every day.

I won the first place in the October Redfish Rally on Steem Terminal. I also made it to their hall of fame list! How awesome is that!! The win earned me more SP delegation and even some more Steem.

Now, I'm on my 100th day on Steem. I still have a long way to go. I just need to be consistent and show up every day. And yes, my power of invisibility is still present. I don't believe it will wear off any time soon. But that's okay, as I'm enjoying my journey and I'm having fun creating and sharing contents from my life.

As for milestones, let me share some of my stats from the various sources on Steem:

Yes, I have reached 300SP. All from hard work and consistency too. I'm also thankful for all the extra SP delegation from generous individuals. Special mention to @c0ff33a.

My curation SP is growing. I intend to include that on my next set of goals. There are lots of really good articles that I would want to read.

Congratulations!
You are doing a really great job here on STEEM, and also in CTP Tribe! Played very well by stepping outside the tribe for more visibility, and it showed results... That's the right way to do it... I had a plan to do something similar, but I have failed... Anyways, I will try to follow your steps...

Keep up the good work!

Congratulations, you are doing great and have grown so much in such a short time - in fact for visibility terms you are far more noticed then people who have been posting for years. But it’s all about that interaction- getting about being noticed and commenting on other people’s work - sitting back hoping people will come to you will never work. My own post comments only really appear when I comment on other peoples posts - if shock horror I don’t comment for a few days I’ll see a post get very little interaction. Keep pulling them by reminding them you are here - it’s key. Token sparkler !COFFEEA !DERANGED !MARLIANS

You are dead on about her visibility. @iamraincrystal has been out there interacting with so many people in a positive and supportive way. Never seen any negativity which is refreshing.

@c0ff33a I dindn't know you could send MARLIANS, is that a gift from your account or just something that stakeholders can do as part of the reward pool?

One step at a time, right? I can still remember when I finally made the connection between increased SP and curation rewards. I kept noticing the little bits of STEEM showing up in my wallet each day, and wondered where it was coming from. Keep Going! :)
