41 Days & Counting...

That's how long I have been on the Steem blockchain, and we all know that's 'coz of ClickTrackProfit. Before I give a recap of my progress, I can't promise to do this update often. I'm honestly learning a lot that I lose track of time or the lessons learned.

The past 40 days have been quite fruitful for me. There were challenges that included understanding the use of the different keys, knowing which links to go to for posting and claiming tokens, and even transferring/exchanging tokens on the Steem Engine. But the biggest challenge I had was in "resource credit." I wrote a blog post about that on my main blog, that some of you probably have read on "The Gauntlet." (That's a site within the CTP program for critiquing one another's marketing tool.) I had to include that for non-CTP folks.

Anyway, I'm lucky to have met some generous folks who helped me overcome that issue on RC.(Thank you guys. You know who you are.) I suppose you could say that the Steem concept excites me that I want to keep sharing contents, whether folks upvote them or not. Heck, I do the same thing on mainstream social media -- FB, IG, Twitter, Tumblr. And no, I don't get any tokens at all from those sites.

I'm glad that I'm part of the CTP Tribe, a truly supportive group. Let's say saving up on CTP tokens was not a big problem even from the beginning. In fact, I'm adjusting my goals to reach 3000CTP as a response to Jon Olson's call to action. Thankfully, I'm not that far away from the 3k.

Steem/SteemPower, though, are another matter. Even to this day, I have yet to see SBD on my Steem wallet?! If I wanted to create more contents, I needed to do something about it. Luckily, I got paid some LTC from TopSurfer. That's one site that I have had for a long time, and one that has paid out a few times already. I took that chance to transfer the payout here to boost my SP a little bit. Sure that helped a bit, but it's really not enough for me, as I have a variety of interests that I like sharing on here.

The only other solution was to get "out" a bit and explore more of Steem. I've been on the lookout for contests to join. I've also found a writing community and realized that I enjoy the writing exercises there. Plus, some of these exercises are actually helping me grow my SP. I'm truly thankful. I'm a long way from 300SP. For September, my target is to reach at least 50SP (my own). Hopefully, that will be happening soon.
