I Got "99 Problems"…
I saw this meme on Facebook that my Uncle shared.
I’m not sure who made it or what the intention behind it was when it was created but I couldn’t help but stare at it for a bit and think of how much it can relate to business.

To me, it speaks to problems we face in business when we forget the importance of getting to know our customers and what their needs are.
You can have all the thought out designs, blue prints, concepts and graphs you want. You can have the most expensive beautiful, professionally designed website on the inter-webs. Guess what?…..
….it all means NOTHING if your business is not meeting the needs of it’s customers. They simply will have no reason to stick around.
If your business is struggling, stop and ask yourself what problem is your service trying to solve for the client?

It should be organic.
What I mean by that is the very concept of discovering the problem should start from the grassroots formation of your business. You can’t create a company or start a business and then just make up a problem and say you have the solution when it doesn’t really exist in the first place. People will see through that because in the end, they will discover they really don't need you. You may get some sales....but they won't be recurring and your retention rates will be low.
So before you put pen to paper to come up with your next business plan, figure out where there is a desire and then work to create the product/service that helps to solve that problem.
When your customers realize they need you or that your service helps make whatever in their life/business easier…I strongly believe you’ll see more lucrative results and the best part is...those customers will be back!
Yes we need to provide what is needed, not what we want to sell.
Or if you are big enough, you create a problem and then provide a solution, and you are the savior... or Bill Gates... lol...
Jokes aside, you have said it well... People are looking for solutions if yours isn't unique and solving THEIR problem, they will dump you... simple as that...
Thank you :) I create lots of problems....the solution part I need to work on haha
That photo is really interesting and goes very well with the topic.
Thank you. I'm glad my inspiration wasn't lost LOL

WOW! Absolutely great post!
Always make sure you're serving up a solution to a real problem. You can't often make up a problem then be the savior 😉
I've dropped 1000 HUSTLER Tokens on you for this great little piece of insight! Way to hustle!!
Wow thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback and support
Too true! You have to get to know your customers otherwise it’s not going to be a successful business!
Exactly. This is so important!
This is such valuable information!
They say a picture is worth a thousand words...well I think your image does just that.
We often keep ourselves busy and spend lots of time with the spectacular design, while the less spectacular route gets right to the point in half the time. I believe that can make the difference between "busyness" and business.
It's not about how good it looks, but rather as you say; "do you solve a problem?"
Great post, thanks for sharing it with us.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback! :)
This photo really drew me in because it is really spot on. Currently in a situation where we need to diversify and come up with something else due to the effects of the pandemic. Studying the potential customers is something we really need to put all of our efforts in at the moment. Great post.
Yes! This is so important right now. Even current business owners, not just new ones, need to re-evaluate things right now. It's a good habit to practice always! Thank you for your comment.
