Tick Tock, Tick Tock.... Day Two!!

I woke up today with the sense that things were really looking up. As some of you read in a previous post, I have a past that is a basic shit show. It involved abuse and drug addiction, poverty and abandonment. For those circumstances, I left social media and hid and protected myself and my children for all prying eyes that didn't have their best interests in mind.
I went off the grid in 2014. I had Facebook, but never Instagram, SnapChat, Twitter, nothing. I've had people reach out to me and ask if the kids and I were alright. Well meaning, I'm sure, but I ignored them anyway. I've posted one post in 2018 for my son's high school graduation, because I had a lot to say about his road and the negative recesses' of society that attempted to hold him back. After that, radio silent, again.
As I've begun my little business ventures in this last week and stirred the recesses of my imagination and begun to have a vision for what is to come, I've had to dive back into social media. Like we are told here at CTPTalk, you must engage. You must take action... OR... NO ONE CARES.. lol
I've always thought that a harsh statement, but I've now found it's true... as I've posted, talked, sometimes listened, and given thumbs up... that ball is beginning to roll.. and roll quickly.. I am posting like a mad woman. And in the words of Robin Williams: Screenshot_20200102-160544.png

Yeah it does seem harsh, but I think of it like this...We're bombarded with tens of thousands of marketing messages every day....

So you have to ask yourself, how am I going to stick out in that noise?

Unless you are showing up, everyday and engaging with people...You just get lost in the sea of distractions...The best thing about Steem and CTP right now....It's VERY easy to stick out here :)

Just keep doing what you are doing!!

When I saw this line:

As some of you read in a previous post, I have a past that is a basic shit show.

I just knew that I have found one of my favorite future authors here on CTP Talk... :) Please, don't stop again with blogging, as you are doing it great!

Even with so many downs in your past, use them to give you strength and keep you up as high as you can!
Even the sky is not a limit anymore :)
Don't ever let that piece of madness die!
Good job 🍀

Do keep it up Jenna, and what I have found is that sharing some of the shit just makes people get to know you more which also adds like and trust, but it does take courage to get over that and start sharing, enjoy the new year and stay awesome.
