As I trudge through the excitement of being on the blockchain more specifically on HIVE for the last few months, I continue to be overwhelmed with everything that is constantly happening on this platform.

Not afraid of it, just more amped up to learn as much as possible; but knowing that it's impossible to learn it all in one sitting, so I temper that excitement and just hope to learn ONE NEW thing on a daily basis and I'll be way ahead of the game.

The decision to upgrade my CTP account is to elevate my Affiliate Marketing approach into a long-term successful online business and with The CTP Swarm providing the tools and support I'm confident that will happen.

What I never anticipated is the incredible opportunity with the investing aspect on the blockchain. When I was in my twenties, I worked on Wall Street for 6 years. Right down the block from the Stock Exchange on Broad Street. I worked for a clearing house and we cleared stocks and bonds for big companies and their clients.

I squandered opportunities to invest, because I loved partying and so all my money went into clubbing and everything that comes with that life.

Now, I feel like have this second chance; albeit many years later.

With CTP, the mindset is to earn passive income and learning to be a better affiliate marketer and bringing that mindset towards investing is a brilliant move to bridge those 2 aspects together.

Now, it's much simpler for me to understand the landscape of affiliate marketing and what it takes, what can be a detriment and what works and what doesn't; but becoming a smart investor simultaneously takes a lot of reading, researching, following the right people and ASKING QUESTIONS.

The LeoFinance blog has tons of info, while making sense out of LeoDex, Cub Finance and working with Hive-Engine is a mental and spherical mind-fu*k; not to mention my attempt and fumbling foray into CubFinance.

Having amazing folks that already been on the blockchain and HIVE for a while now and having them as your sounding board is a blessing. The CTP Swarm first and foremost.

I have also met a handful of smart and savvy people on the HIVE space that have offered their perspectives. I am also following the likes of @bitcoinflood who ALWAYS has a post up that is very informative.

A guy like @taskmaster4450le whose posts makes you think out the box and look at the future but also provides you with some great examples from the past.

And of course @jongolson whose enthusiasm about all this stuff and his penchant for absorbing as much as he can, but more importantly; impart that knowledge to CTP members is beyond priceless.

I may stray a bit and invest in a few things, I just find fun and interesting; but the 3 individuals I mentioned above, the collective of awesome CTP Swarm members, the daily and informative posts written by incredible people on CTPTalk & LeoFinance and the openness of folks that are willing to offer their perspective is a wonderful path for an affiliate marketer to earn as an investor too; but doing it by making wise choices.
