November 18th - Checks and Balances

Hi everyone. I envision another good week ahead. The holidays are fast approaching. I'll be busy, as I'm sure many of you will be. In thinking about the added activities the holidays bring, we must all remember that our online family and friends and activities are great to have, but you have to strike a balance between that and offline. Setting goals for offline tasks and activities should be just as important.

I may be able to produce several posts a week, get numerous upvotes and comments, or acquire another hundred SP or staked tokens, but it's family, both immediate and extended, and friends offline that helps me function online. Yes, they are a major distraction when I'm really trying to focus online, but as @ianballantine and I were discussing in his post, that's family!

So for me, that means taking extra time to get ready for holiday events, finding all my strewed sales tax receipts, and making room for more discount shopping items. Then spending as much time with family. Can't afford to be stressed.

Below are my online activities I plan:

Last Week
I entered several contests to boost my SP and possibly gain addition delegations. I now have 150 SP. My goal was to reach 100 SP by year end. But I was able to accomplish this sooner, and being rewarded with several additional Steem badges. You know how I love badges! Also, I entered two contests to gain experience in how to curate posts correctly.

This Week's Goals
This week I plan to complete the CTP Lead Capture Page and Multiple Streams training modules in the TRAINING section and begin working on a site in the MASTERY section. Also, I just joined another Discord group, Neoxian.

Thanks so much for the support and encouragement. I branched out and joined some different Tribes for my fiction writing . Then I won some contests that gave SP. I've had good fortune, and I'm thankful for all the support of the Tribes, especially Steem Terminal and PHC.

Family is too important, especially at this time of year. As fellow steemians take time out to celebrate with their loved ones, myself included, I'll be making time to accelerate my activities here on Steem to take advantage of fewer posts and commentaries. Just means I'll be spending less time on non-Steem related sites.

Am I feeling stressed? Nah, just found my second wind!
