Defining Failure?

Failure.png

Failure is a chance to revisit, refine and reinvent our approach in any aspect in life.

However, what do we call failure?

When we label anything a failure, how did we measure, "said" failure?

Without proper metrics (measurement) how would we know?

On the opposite side of the coin, what would be the measurement of success?

Clearly defined aims with satisfaction metrics should be the determining factor of success and/or failure vs an emotional decision.

Emotional decision's could be good or they could be bad, who knows?

The only failures are the quitters. You always have to learn how not to do things before you learn how to do them right.

Thanks for your response Mike! I am not a big fan of "always" and "never". Sometimes we have successes from the start and then fail. Yet, what is a success and what is a failure? Those metrics must be clearly defined before we start an evolution in life. It is the metrics vs emotions. When we remove emotions from the metrics we are more likely to review the metrics and improve upon them. I believe most people are quitters because they let emotions get in the way and also lacked clearly defined metrics before they started the evolution.
