Good Things, NO, Really Good Things Happen When We Take the Time to Listen and Not Make Assumptions

Good Morning! Happy Thursday Everyone! Getting some work done and then getting ready for a visit from my step daughter this evening. We didn't get to see her over the Holidays because she is a dog walker and was working during that time. So, tonight she is coming over and we are having Beef Stroganoff for dinner.

On to today's topic. I joined a new business late last Summer when it was in prelaunch. They actually launched in November. More about them later. I joined with a person who has spent a ton of time coaching me for free really. I trust this person very much. Anyway, she knew what I was and was not looking for when I chose to join the business. And certain features are taking more time than others to come to fruition. They are a start up. Anyway, I had and have been learning to use LinkedIn as a marketing tool. A couple of days ago I was invited to a private FB group chat for those of us in this new business who have also been in the same LinkedIn training. I am so happy I let go of my assumptions of what I thought it was going to be which was being forced into doing something I haven't wanted to do which is prospecting. My plan with this business was to run it like an affiliate business and get customers and residual income. I was assuming that the training last night was not going to cover what I wanted to know. WRONG! I have to tell you before last night I was ready to just give up because I thought there wasn't a place for me there. That was upsetting too because I invested a bunch of money up front. Sooo glad I didn't. Sometimes we just need a little clarification and to have an open mind. My coach has said in the past to be open to everything and attached to nothing. I was attached to the idea of just getting customers so I was closing out any other possibilities. There is going to be a weekly training for the group and it will stay quite small. So a nice little Mastermind. And it isn't costing me any extra except some time and attention and doing the homework. I already started that.
