Splinterlands - From Simple Game to Great Communities

If you are searching for a good idea how to start some application/game on the blockchain, just take a closer look at Splinterlands, aka Steem Monsters and you will find a bunch. From the founders @aggroed and @yabapmatt the game was one of the first games on the STEEM blockchain and today is the most successful game among all the blockchains that exist.

Actually, @yabapmatt has yesterday published his 2nd-anniversary post here on STEEM where he has described his first steps and the journey until this very moment. So many projects, so many values added to our STEEM... When someone is needed (as SMT in one moment) and there is no solution, he will step out and create it.

You probably know that I am a big fan of the game, but on the other side, I'm also a big fan of creative and hard-working people. I would like to give a big thanks to both of the guys for everything that they have done for the STEEM and the whole community.

Without Steem-engine and tokens market, there will be no tribes and communities... A lot of leaders would leave the chain (as some were in the past) in the long wait for SMTs... But, we were lucky that these two guys stepped out and create something valuable to complete blockchain...

We have now awesome communities in different niches, like CTPTalk - affiliate marketing, SteemLeo - investing, SplinterTalk - Splinterlands community, PALNet - general topics, Sports Talk Social, and many many others...
