As I was at my chiropractor this morning, the topic of people wanting to trust came up and the thought came to me that this is not just true in our personal lives. It is true in business as well.

This was an interesting story, Garrey! Thanks for sharing!

I'm maybe a bit too naive, but in default, I trust people until they turn me down... And I don't "force myself" to gain someones trust... Just being myself, and the rest is on the other person involved...

Have a great Sunday!

I try to be open to giving people the benefit of the doubt, as well. However, I have to admit that I am more cautious when it comes to giving away my hard earned money to someone online. I feel it is important to do our research and not invest in something that has a higher likelihood of ending in an unwanted result.

On the flip side, I don't think I try to "force" myself to gain someone's trust. I think integrity is a critically important part of who I am. But I also think it is more about learning what things other people find trustworthy and incorporating those things into my daily routine so that I am not unintentionally alienating them by my actions. I am not trying to prove I am trustworthy. I am just learning new ways to serve others, which, in turn, tends to increase their trust level. By serving, we become better leaders.

I can't agree more with your comment, Garrey... It is like you said, and personally, I avoid "giving away" money as it's the worst that can happen to all people involved...

Instead of doing that, trying to show others how can they EARN some money... but, there are different people on the world... one loan never solves the problem... It's all about that old one:

"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime"
