Why I Say Content Is King
All Hail King Content
We have all heard this adage in marketing groups. For those of us that create content on Hive those words have never been more true.
Traditionally a person would set up a blog and or get a YouTube channel and would not only need to create daily content, but also figure out monetization of the site. That is a lot of work. Content creation is challenging but doing it daily can crack the hardest of workers.
Trying to monetize a blog or Youtube channel is a full-time job itself. I would need to be able to get people to not only subscribe but also buy something. Even on Youtube, I would need a minimum of 1,000 subscribers to even hope to qualify for revenue sharing.
Not Me I Am Not A YouTube Star
On Hive I have 3 accounts, 1 for business, 1 for fun, and 1 for Hive Engine Witness. All three of those accounts have generated some income, and 2 of the accounts have been profitable. The funny thing is if you add up all of my followers of all 3 accounts I have less than 150.
Do not misunderstand me, I am not Hive rich or an expert in multimedia content marketing which should be even more surprising that I made any money at all. If I was an expert and started making money on Hive great, but oh yell not really impressive when an expert does their job.
I Say This All The Time
I am not an expert but I am full-time self-employed. I do have a few skills lol. I would never compare myself to a @jongolson or a @blainjones but I do okay for my family.
That being said I am just blown away by how quickly Hive become a must-do part of my business plan especially when you consider that last year I have not heard of Hive.
My biggest problem is splitting my time between Hive and Reselling does not leave room for much else. Will keep everyone posted on my progress and the adjustments I have made to allow for more Hive Activity without losing any reselling activity.

I got a lot of attention to my post from the solo I sent so I imagine you will be pretty happy with your results.
I can not believe I got the results that I did. Also, I kept preparing myself for a much smaller reward last night because I thought for sure a few more people would have acted, seriously the easiest money I ever made 😎
I doubt there will be any more payouts like that one because emails are being verified daily but it was nice to have had a piece of this one.

That was an epic movie for the time, my friends and I would argue the possibility. Those were fun times. Did you see the remake?
No I haven't. Is it worth watching? I enjoyed the old version when I was a teenager in the 80's.
I have to say I like the original better. I do not think it is because I am old. There are new things I like better than the old for instance Star Trek Next Generation over Original series but Captain Kirk over Captain Picard.
SyFy Channels Remake of Battlestar Galactica is so much better than the original. 😀
It's all the more reason to create content on hive as opposed to having your own blog oe using you tube. You make money just from showing up!

I agree with you last night was the most crypto I ever made in one hour. Sending that Solo Mail was the best thing I did yesterday. For the first time ever my crypto earnings for the day were higher than my reselling 😄
Just think how great it will be when you start having more of those days or even everyday.
The good part about Hive is that there are several communities in which you can create content so it is a whole team of people working together unlike the Wolverines which are solitary and only come together a few times during the summer months.
Keep creating that content and engaging in the community. Take care

Remember, most won't. The majority are too busy wasting their time watching X-Men movies from the 90's with Wolverine(s) instead of building their businesses.

Without a doubt, content is king and creating relationships undoubtedly benefits the community. But what I don't know is why I feel the need to write "Wolverines".
Hive is a very interesting place I have not experienced anything like this before.

One of my favorite animals for those reasons. Plus growing up in Michigan there were always talks of Wolverines, but they were talking College Football lol. Did you know at one time people considered them a myth because they were so elusive?

I think Wolverines are sort of cute. If someone wrote content about wolverines, I would definitely upvote and comment.
I agree with you I love their cute little pointed faces. I must confess I have never seen one in real life only pictures and documentaries.
They are best observed at a distance.
I am making a few comments a day on this account and I am increasing my followers little by little. Not only that I am getting some income everyday. Changing the subject drastically, I hope the Wisconsin Badgers beat the Michigan Wolverines the next time they play basketball against each other.
That is key doing a little bit every day snowballs into huge rewards later on.

If you're short on time, now might be the time to look at ways that take less time, but generate more income. No one can expect to get rich doing nothing, but building passive income streams can make a difference. By the way, have you seen wolverines by any chance?
I agree with you building passive income streams is a job that pays off big down the road.
I am not much of a sports fan so I haven't watched the Wolverines this year.
Time management is always a tough thing to balance.

It is funny you bring that up. Not having gone to college I do not follow college football, that being said I do not follow NFL either. I do enjoy Hockey. Do you have a sport you enjoy?
I use to play golf a bit. But since I moved out into the country I haven't played much.
Yeah Man it sure leaves a few cracks on when the work is every day but we have commenting to cover up for the lost days and some more, but we strive to make it every day just like Wolverines

Focus and consistency are the keys here on Hive. My first year (2016 in the old Steemit days) was massive - it has been a long steady journey since then to build and build.
The new world is bringing so many variants - hard to keep track and to avoid the wolverines.

The good old days. I spent 3 hours writing my Introduce Yourself post - it made $1319 back when STEEM was $0.04. It is great to keep getting paid for old work when the price goes up.
