Momma of All Trades - Monkeyboy Adventures #6

Hello Steem World!

Today I share with you an not so great adventure of David, but was an adventure anyway for all of us!

Just a quick rant here:

Please be careful how you treat someone when they share something important or want your help and support on something!

It is easy to point fingers behind a screen! I'm ok but someone might not!

Specially Moms judging other Moms!

I notice this a lot inside most of Facebook groups of mothers! When it is supposed to be a supportive group it's most of the time the opposite!

That's why sometimes was difficult for me to share something in the past!

Fortunately motherhood made me stronger I think! lol

Anyway, go watch my tired morning face and enjoy!

Some people feel better about themselves when cutting down others. Ignore them if you can.

Nice job Eliana! Thanks for sharing! On this last New Years Day we were gathered at my parents' house for my Dad's 89th birthday! My nephew and his wife have two very active toddler boys. One is two and half and the other is 15 months. My parents have alot of stuff in their house. It hasn't been child proofed in many years. There were 18 adults around and my older great nephew still had an accident. He was walking very fast, almost running around the dinner table. There is a cabinet right next to the table. He was moving pretty fast, missed the turn and hit his forehead on the side of the cabinet. No blood, but he got a good size bump on his forehead between his eyes. He just missed his eye. So scary. The scream just about made me want to cry. So stuff can still happen even with adults right there. Kids are resilient. And no, people who have not been in that situation should not judge. You're doing what you have to do to be a good Mom to David.

Your welcome Eliana! I never had children of my own. Just never worked out. But I have loved watching my nephews grow up and now the older one has children of his own. So I get to watch he and his wife grow as parents.

Accidents happen... And you can't be 24/7 with your child... As a mom, you need a rest sometimes... and of course, normal life... Don't blame yourself, don't blame your mother-in-law... It can happen to anyone else...

And for the end... don't bother with what others say... When they experience something similar to themselves, they usually change their opinion... But arguing about it... there is no sense...

It doesn't bother me much..at least I try...but there are more vulnerable Mothers around that can't handle it..that's why I shared my story to show them that they are not alone :)

Thanks a lot for sharing this Eliana, and yeah accidents happen, I don't know how many times I had an accident when I grew up, it's how we learn to take care of ourselves, stay awesome.

It's good that you didn't let it get to you - some people can be harsh sometimes :o
