Have not really thought much about it. I know curating is going up to 50% so that will be good for me. Other than that not really sure what it is going to mean, and as I am not in the upper circle there is nothing I can do about it anyways so I will just take it as it comes.

Dude...totally agree about the average user needs it simple. Right now, new people don't have a clue what they are doing.

I hope so...Problem is, a lot of us already curate a ton...It's up to the bigger fish, if this is to succeed.

Easy of use and easy to login... that has to be improved... I don't know for the others, but this new SteemConnect I find more confusing than the old one... "login" "get import"...

And HF21... When it's come, it will be here... nothing to add... we have to adapt.

It's insane. The people running the big boy programs here create stuff made for tech geniuses...Not the average person.

Great video @jongolson, and yeah HF21 will happen and then it will settle and we will adapt and keep creating and using Steem and the dapps and tribes, and to be honest I think about half or more of the adapting has already happened.
And yeah ease of use does need to improve, right now I am doing what I can to tell the new people how it works, but if the masses really starts to arrive it needs to be way easier to use.

Yeah exactly...A few people on Steem love the curation side of things, and I'm excited for that.

Yeah, the general idea is...More rewards for curators. So that's always a good thing...But content creators take a hit UNLESS there is more curation from the top tier accounts.

Being new her, I'm just glad the change is coming now. I won't have to learn one way and then adapt to new changes, so I'm ready to deal with whatever they throw our way.

HF21 is definetly a hot topic right now :)
Major two things (for common user) that will change is:
a) non-linear reward curve - it will most likely "kill" culture of upvoting comments (time will tell).
b) 50/50 reward split - since PALnet seem to be leading in that direction we can already witness how does it really work. And so far it seem that 50/50 only create extra selling pressure, since curators are more willing to dump their easy earned PAL tokens. Can we expect different behaviour on Steemit? Why would we?
I'm full of hopes that HF21 will make things better, but right now I'm not very optimistic. I strongly believe that when it comes to PRICE steem has still long way to go (down).

I'm excited to know what is going to happen to bidbots, that's for sure... the new economic changes don't benefit those...
On the other hand, they do benefit the vote selling market.
Let's see how the ecosystem adapts.
