Hello Cookies,

Oh… My… God! I thought my eyes were deceiving me when my husband bought me a pack of these. I had heard about them, but I didn’t think I would be lucky enough to have one! I was really looking forward to eating these.

Lady Gaga Limited Edition Oreos

Chocolate Flavour Sandwich Biscuits with a Vanilla Flavour Filling. The classic Oreo is a tasty chocolatey sandwich biscuit filled with a creamy vanilla flavour centre. Yum!

I don’t normally eat Oreos and I think I have only ever had them crumbled over the top of a donut or having Oreo pieces in ice cream. I was very much looking forward to see what an actual whole Oreo tastes like. When I opened the packet, the cookies were a bit smaller and lighter than expected. I also thought the centre was going to be pink! I was wrong! Nevertheless, the cookies were very good and now I know why people go crazy for them. The first one I had, I ate without anything. The biscuit was thin and quite crunchy. It did have a good snap sound too considering how thin it was. It was nice and dark and chocolatey. The vanilla filling was soft but firm. It reminded me of the consistency of the filling in a Custard Cream biscuit. The flavour was nice and I did get a bit of vanilla flavour, but I’m sure it tasted of something else and I can’t quite work out what it is I can taste. It was very nice though. I loved dipping these into milk as well. The cookies really soaked up the milk in a way I wasn’t expecting. No wonder people always have milk with their Oreos.

I can’t believe it’s taken me a very long time to wrap my mouth around a proper Oreo. It was so nice! I think the vanilla flavour is an American flavour, not vanilla as I would expect being British. Anyhow, still delicious cookie and I can’t wait to have some more with a big glass of fresh, cold milk!
