Barcelona 3-0 Manchester City: City on brink of Women's Champions League exit
Manchester City women face dropping out of the Women's Champions League after they were handed a 3-0 defeat by Barcelona Femenino in the quarter-final stage of the competition.
Barcelona opened scoring in the 35 minutes through Asisat Oshoala then another after the break through a penalty after Oshoala was fouled in the box by Demi Stokes.
The resultant spotkick was converted by Mariona Caldentey. Barcelona wrapped their win later on after Jenni Hermoso added a third.
City had their chances to reduce the deficit but failed. A noticeable one was Chloe Kelly failed penalty in the 55 minutes.
Gareth Taylor's side will now have overturn the three goals in the reverse fixture next Wednesday when they welcome the Spanish giant.
