My Quarantine Story

This post is a response to the @theycallmedan #QuarantineLife initiative... As I'm already doing my daily vlogs about my quarantine life, this one would be some kind of sum-up of all things in one big post... :)

I live in Spain and we are at the moment still on the top of the countries hit by this nasty coronavirus... We are currently in lockdown for 21 days (video is recorded 2-3 days ago) and we are still far away from the end...

Living in a 50-60 square meters apartment with a wife and teenage son is in normal circumstances enough... But, in extreme situations, as this is, it can be a bit ugly... lol... Of course, I love my family, but if you are a parent, you know what I'm talking about... :) We are healthy, and that is the most important thing!

Before all this, I was working from home, so this situation didn't bring a lot of difference in that part... But, having a "full" house is making a difference... It's much more complicated to focus on the work, as others also have their needs...

My wife is a piano teacher, so she had to change her method of working completely... For doing her job, she needs separate space, laptop, camera, and everyone's favorite application today, Zoom... My son is doing online schooling, and he also has a bunch of exercises, exams, and stuff to learn... Also, he is playing the violin, so our neighbors have double pleasures these days... :)

Another important thing is that all of our family is living far away from us, so we don't have to worry about carrying this virus to them... That's a good side... The bad one is that we were usually going to visit them every summer, but I suppose that we will skip this one, for sure... We have skype and we have almost everyday contact with all of them, and I think that this virus has made our relationship even closer than earlier...

I'm aware that after this #coronavirus period, we will have an even worse period with a lot of financial and economic problems... And because of that, I'm trying to share awareness with others about the importance of cryptocurrencies and all the possibilities of earning online... The Hive blockchain is one great example and it's an ideal moment to get involved and start to create valuable content and connections with other authors and members...

We will come out from this probably stronger than we were before, but it will change our lives and our look on the "ordinary" things that we have earlier "took for granted"... We will appreciate more our freedom, and I hope that we will appreciate more our nature and our time spent enjoying all the beautiful things that Earth is giving us...

Recipe for keeping Coronavirus away...

• Wash your hands more regularly, and a minimum of 20 seconds
• Avoid touching your face, mouth or nose,
• Keep distance when you are on the street (if you are not in a lockdown),
• Stay home if possible
• Wear masks if you have symptoms
