🐞 A Carmine Skimmer Dragonfly & Many Leaf-Footed Bugs 🐜

Hi dear friends of insects, I have some pictures of a dragonfly and stinky bugs to share with you today. It is raining here and I think it will rain all day. We don't have propane for two days already and now we still don't have any.

I am tired of eating salad because here there are not good vegetables and fruits for making salad. I can find only cucumbers and apples to make a salad for the last three days. Our friend @faustofraser came to take us to go change the propane tank in town, but still we did not have luck getting propane.

He went to the big city but they didn't have propane. We ride two hours around Paramaribo but still not find propane. We are tired and so we came back home with only rotis from the city. Because it was Easter it was difficult to find anything. I hope tomorrow will be a normal day.

I didn’t take pictures of this dragonfly by myself, but the @kidsisters helped. She didn’t want to make a post about insects like me.

She just wanted to take pictures for me. The other pictures were taken with my phone yesterday.

I learned the name of this dragonfly is Orthemis Discolor, and it's a species of skimmer in the dragonfly family Libellulidae. It's common name is Carmine Skimmer.

These are leaf-footed bugs, they live in the pumpkin leaves and plants so much.
