π¦ Guava Skipper, A Special Butterfly In The Skipper Family π¦π» Clevia, Suriname
Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. I donβt have new photos for a post today, So I asked my Monkey-B, "Do you want to find insects with mama?" She said, "Yes mama!" Then we go the plantain garden.
We looked everywhere around the plants, then we saw this insect. We're not clear if it is a butterfly or moth or other insect. But itβs so beautiful we and never see it before. It was a surprise for us.
I learned its name is itβs Guava Skipper, is a species of butterfly in the Skipper family.
I try to get as close possible to it many times. It fly away many times but we found it again and again.
These pictures were not easy to get but I am really excited about it and my little girl the same.
This photo is not cropped.
There are some people on Hive that wonder about my photography...they asked me, "Do you zoom or do you get close to it?" I always tell everyone, all my photography I have never zoomed.
The first time I took photos from my iPhone, I tried zoom, but after I zoom the photos are not clear, so I like patience and get as close as possible to them for pictures. I like to crop pictures a little bit for my post. This is original photography. I took them a little far from the butterfly.
This is an original photo not cropped. I get as close as possible to it.
This is also original picture, but not clear. My iPhone camera is not clear when it is very close to insects. Have a great weekend everyone ππ€π.
My God I've never seen such a butterfly here in Europe. Colors and shape it contains is just amazing! π
You had a lot of patience and care to get that close. Lucky :)

tokens. The pictures are wonderful, I loved them! I feel like the insect was posing for the photos and avoided moving its wings so you could capture a sharp and perfect image.
I wish you a happy Friday

tokens.Ok, I'm not an expert with photos but they say to "focus" on the object when making photos. I also have a hard time with focusing the camera though, but I find your pictures clear π.
Oh yeah, also my first time seeing this type of butterfly; it's pretty with the black, indigo and red colors.
Yes itβs was beautiful and gone I want to see it again. Suriname has a lot beautiful butterflies and so many different I never know before. Why you donβt try to take photos of them, maybe you take pictures of the good than me. !ENGAGE 30
I have thought of making pictures of the wildlife and if I could insects, but most of the time I'm either not fast enough or I have to be more outside and I like being inside π.
But definitely thinking about it π.

I like these types, because they are also a kind of quiet and unobtrusive attack.
