MATCH REVIEW FOR MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Good morning to all sports lovers from around the world, I want to believe that you all had a wonderful weekend. Am super excited today and that is why I will be talking specifically about the match between Man utd and of course Leeds Utd which was held yesterday at Elands Road in the English Premier League.

The match kicked off at 14WAT were man utd were the ones who started the game in full force and pressure on Leeds utd players and of course Marcus Rashford had an opportunity to find the back of the net with an assist from Victor Lindelof but couldn’t, and the pressure kept on going even till the 44th minutes were man utd had a free kick outside the 18-yard box and the free kick was taken by Marcus Rashford with a brilliant shot on target but was saved by the goalkeeper for Leeds utd.

Harry Maguire also had a chance with a free headed but also very unlucky to hit the target or even find the back of the net for his team from the penalty sport, a well takened corner kick by Luke Shaw.

The frustration kept on going even in the second halve were Man utd were still very Unlucky to find the back of the net even still the was under control. While on the other hand Leeds utd kept the counter attack moving with 3 attempts and only one was on target for Leeds utd.

Leeds utd defended so well despite all the pressure and counter attacks from Man Utd but their fall back did everything possible to keep the ball 75yards out of their penalty area.

Man utd desperate for more tried all the could think with several attempts on the goal, starting with Bruno Fernandes from the penalty area with an assist from Aron-Wanbissaka but still couldn’t hit the target. And the one that got people talking is the goal Missed by Daniel James with an assist from Bruno Fernandes. But he missed the ball especially when he tried to control the ball, but the two defenders near him wouldn’t give him such opportunity.

It was also a thing of surprise how Luke escaped from the penalty that the Leeds utd players were protesting for. But truth to be told, as for me I will say that he was trying to remove his hand when the ball hit his shoulders, so there is nothing to argue about because the VAR said no foul, so the decision is no foul.

Finally, Leeds utd were successful in frustrating man utd to a goalless draw at Elands road on Sunday and some of the man utd fans will be happy because there are still 8 points clear from their rivalry Leister City on the English Premier League table and the continue to go 28 unbeaten in the premier league.

We are still looking forward their next fixtures in the English premier league. Still in the premier league, we still waiting to see what happens to the top four and bottom three in the English Premier League because the fight is still on and we are looking forward to see the results in the remaining 5 matches in the English premier league this season. Truth to be told, this season has really been an interesting one.
