WHAT AN EPIC NIGHT FOR FC PORTO VS JUVENTUS

The round of 16, leg 2 of Uefa Champion League between Juventus and Fc Porto at Juventus Staduim ended in favour of Juventus who had a 3 goals against 2 goals from the Fc porto.

Even though I have not been much of a Champion League fan but considering the person of Ronaldo in Juventus, Indeed, I predicted and knew that Juventus will win the match and indeed they did win but funny enough, the second goal from Porto team that was scored by Sergio Oliveria drove them out of the champion League yesterday.

The free-kick by Sérgio Oliveira in the extra time given to them eliminated eliminated the Italian Champions. Porto were really dominating the match in the early stage until they were reduced to a ten men player, were it looked like they were going to give up but considering the kinda team they are, they stoood strong and firm and defended wonderfully.

Even though the Juventus team had the opportunity to dominate the ball, they couldn't do anything to make a difference so far, they were poor and slow on how they responded to kicks and were also poor and careless in their possession of ball.

I guess this win would have silenced critics from fans on Ronaldo and Juventus side also but unfortunately the critics will only get louder as Juventus are out of the League and fortunately, the last match from Sergio actually passed through Ronaldo in particular, who would have blocked the ball from entering the gaol post but actually turned his back on the shot which spoke bad. We actually didn't see the elimination of Juventus coming and I guess no one expected it to happen.

One thing for sure is that Porto is not a team to look down on or joked with because in a group that included Manchester City, they finished second and on the field, they've been really tough and there defense is unbreakable.

It wasn't an easy game for the Porto guys who played from the 54th minute with ten men yet still, they came out strong and so reaching the Champions League quarter-finals for the fifth time, I would say they fully deserved it because even when they suffered with just 10 men, they still won the tie.

It was really a disappointing match for the Juventus in Europe as they had several chances of getting another goal but failed and this gave Porto a chance of whipping them off the League.

All eyes were on Cristiano Ronaldo to rescue Juventus from their mess but yesterday's night match has shown how impossible that will be any time soon. Federico Chiesa and Adrien Rabiot did an amazing performance yesterday in because there three goals helped Juventus team cover up the shame of leaving the staduim with a zero goal but unfortunately Ronaldo performed below expectations of his fans and Juventus fans.

I think history has repeated itself yesterday night as well because last season, Juventus were eliminated by Lyon at this stage in the competition and in the first leg of the competition last month in Portugal against Porto, they were beaten 2-1 and yesterday although they had a higher score than Porto, their was a re-occurance of the same thing.
