Jose Mourinho is known by his nickname as The Special One. However, this time Mourinho wants to be called The Experienced One.
When he arrived at Chelsea from Porto in 2004, Mourinho once described himself as The Special One. The man from Portugal came to Stamford Bridge as Champions League winners.
After three years with Chelsea, Mourinho then moved to Italy and coached Inter Milan starting in the summer of 2008. Together with the Nerazzurri, Mourinho won the treble winner in the 2009/2010 season.
After winning the treble with Inter, Mourinho accepted an offer to train Real Madrid. He only lasted three seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu before returning to Chelsea.
Mourinho was then appointed manager of Manchester United starting in the summer of 2016. Having presented the Europa League title in his first season, Mourinho was then sacked in December 2018.
After being unemployed for almost a year, Mourinho was appointed manager of Tottenham Hotspur in November 2019. He replaced Mauricio Pochettino who was sacked.
Mourinho said that he is now stronger thanks to a series of experiences coaching various top European clubs.
"The 'Experienced One'. I am very experienced," Mourinho told Tencent Sport, when asked how he calls himself now.
"Basically everything that happens to me in football now is deja vu, something that has happened to me before," continued Mourinho.
There are jobs that require special fitness conditions such as football players. A 40 year old doesn't have the same potential as a 20 or 30 year old, except for you Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
