It was a Victorious ending for Lampard at Chelsea

Since the days I got hooked to PS2, my love for Chelsea as a team was unparraled. It could be due to my biased likeness for the colour "blue" or other factors, yet, I just loved the Stamford Bridge team and I had to make the most of the team each time I'd play fantasy soccer. Truly, If I had a chance to choose a club to visit, it would be Chelsea though my favourites then like Drogba, Essien, Mikel, Czech, and Lampard anre no more playing.

It's official that Chelsea Football Club had two days ago parted company with Head Coach Frank Lampard as announced from the Club's website. I believge this was a very difficult decision, and not one that the owner and the Board have taken lightly. If you ask me, I'd say, Lampard deserved more time to cope and make it up to the Blues.

Although the recent performances of Chelsea were not impressive leaving the Club mid-table without any clear path to sustained improvement, I believe that Frank Lampard had has achieved much in his time as Head Coach of the Club. Some reports would have it that the recent run of five Premier League defeats in eight games including a 2-0 reverse against Leicester has made Frank vulnerable to Abramovich’s willingness to make changes. source

I'm excited that Frank was able to secure a win in the last match against Luton Town in the FA Cup fourth round. Thanks to Tammy Abraham’s hat-trick which helped Chelsea win with 3 goals. I thought that win would have eased the pressure on under-fire manager Frank Lampard, however, it didn't.

Abraham had appeared to put the hosts in total control of the tie with two early goals, only for Jordan Clark’s strike on the half-hour mark, with the aid of another Kepa Arrizabalaga error, to give Luton hope of a shock at Stamford Bridge. However, Abraham was on hand to ease any home nerves with a close-range finish 16 minutes from time and despite Timo Werner missing a late penalty, Chelsea still set up a fifth-round clash at Barnsley. source

With that happy ending, I would say Lampard's coaching career ended with a bliss with Chelsea and I'm hopeful he'll secure a new coaching deal sooner. One could be hinted from Rman Abramovich's words after disengaging the services of Frank Lampard.

“This was a very difficult decision for the Club, not least because I have an excellent personal relationship with Frank and I have the utmost respect for him.

“He is a man of great integrity and has the highest of work ethics. However, under current circumstances we believe it is best to change managers.

“On behalf of everyone at the Club, the Board and personally, I would like to thank Frank for his work as Head Coach and wish him every success in the future. He is an important icon of this great club and his status here remains undiminished. He will always be warmly welcomed back at Stamford Bridge.”

I join the Chelsea team to wish Lampard well in his future career as a football coach.

This is just the beginning for him. I hope he'll secure another huge team to boost his career.

I don't know if he will continue coaching as this was the pinnacle position he would have wanted and should have happened later in his career. Truth is he served a purpose and didn't deserve the post in the first place. No manager would be lured to the club with a ban on buying players. I enjoy watching games at Stamford Bridge and have been there many times. The shop is amazing with a double story and escalators so not something you would expect to see.

Would he just retie that way? truly, his coming to Chelsea should have been much later in his coaching career. He deserved a lot better treatment especially with the contributions so far for that team in the past years as a player.
