📰News:
- A second new artist began working on EXODE, and @elindos shared a preview of a planet landscape created by the new artist which you can see above. I am excited for this! Once again reminds me of Master of Orion 2.
- The Debriefing Room has been released, and you can now view the results of your wildlife investigations. Something I didn't expect (but makes sense now that I think about it) is that you can also investigate wildlife you identified as dangerous, not only the "relevant wildlife". Since I brought a mining build, I did not investigate any wildlife yet, but I will investigate some before next week's post so I can share the results with you.
- For those that care, "Missions reports will be available to third party programmers", which @elindos elaborates on with "...technically any third party would be able to animate a report..." I think this would be very cool, and I could definitely see a talented programmer like @tyrnis taking advantage of this.
- The servers had some maintenance done on February 6th which will hopefully remove some bugs that players were experiencing.

I personally love this card. I feel like this will have a good place in an "end-game" or "long-term" style of build, as you've essentially got unlimited living space for 1 or 2 people depending on upgrades. If you could bring a build with just these on a small crew ship, you would be able to save so much energy that you would otherwise have to spend on living space. With that extra energy saved, you can put it towards food production, exploration, or any other thing you're interested in doing. This is definitely one of my favorite additions to this game and am very glad that @elindos decided to add cards to the Alpha Contracts. We do not yet know how Atmospheric Shielding or Happiness will effect gameplay, but I'm sure they will come in useful as well.

Yes @digital.bank is an alt that I own. It is primarily for managing eXode cards and packs so I do not have to wade through the transaction history on my main account.

Edit: Ah some more got minted since last I looked. There are now 54 of the Beauty Capsule NFTs that have been minted. Still a very rare card just not as rare as it was the last time that I looked!
It is a contract card, so more will be created, but not many exist right now since it is so new.

Yeah, I saw it there on the Starbase Market. I am still internally debating it because as you said it is a Contract card and more will be minted eventually... but that said I would not mind having a few more so that I can Upgrade the one that I already have.

I like this idea a lot, however it would limit the competitors to only artists, and the prize would have to be worth the effort.

You know those IQ puzzles? where you have to fill in the number sequence or pick the meaning of an obscure word. Those are fun and easy to respond to. I guess as already suggested, these questions could also include Exode Facts and Trivia. As a new player, it would be cool to hear about how things came to be.
An EXODE trivia contest sounds like it could be fun. We would have to think of some not easy-to-find answers, though. I don't know how we would stop people from just looking up the answer as well.

I think i would love to see a small text (like a fan fiction) about the feeling of a character during an evacuation or about some event we can imagine during a colonisation

I would love to see either an art contest or a third-party tool contest! That would a) be awesome and b) provide real use to the game (experience)!
I have never heard of a third-party tool contest, however that could be useful to the game. The thing is, it would limit the amount of participants to insanely skilled people like @tyrnis and not much else, and the idea of the community contest is that we can have the whole community participate if they want to.

Not sure what I would like to see as a contest for EXODE. We are still very early in game development. Blogs I would like to read are about "What are the contract cards" Tom's, etc.
How do they work and a history of price on them.

I could probably make that post. I think I have given away almost all of the contract cards by now so I know most of them by heart.
As for a price history though, I'm unsure I could provide that. I could talk about what I've personally seen but I haven't been a part of EXODE since the very beginning.

I had joined several months ago and have been running daily actions. I am not familiar with the alpha contract that you mention. Could you share what that is? Also, it would be nice to win the card so please include me in your drawing. Thanks.

There are 3 Alpha Contracts, those being Tom Settler, Syndicate, and Rekatron. They mint you cards from a set of contract-only cards each week.
Since you and @ijat had the same suggestion, I think I'll get to work writing a post about the contracts and mention you in the post.

I have been working on it for the past hour! I didn't understand just how many cards there were, and I'm trying to write good descriptions for all of them as well. I'm taking a break but hopefully the post will be up today or tomorrow. Mentioned you in it.
