World Thinking Day
On February 22 of each year, Girl Guides and Scouts around the world celebrate World Thinking Day, in remembrance of the birthday of Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scout Movement and that of his wife Lady Olave, the one who was Chief World Guide.
Almost 28 million people around the world celebrate this day as a way of learning and reflecting on their belonging to a movement that brings together so many different countries and cultures, contributing their particular vision of what Scouting is and reflecting on its message.
