First of all, today is World Cancer Day.
The World Health Organization, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the International Union Against Cancer (UICC) celebrate February 4 of each year as World Cancer Day, an International day with the objective of increasing awareness and mobilizing society to advance in the prevention and control of this disease.
Under the slogan "I Am And I Will", the global community commemorates World Cancer Day on February 4.
Globally, there were an estimated 20 million new cancer cases and 10 million cancer deaths. The cancer burden will increase by approximately 60% over the next two decades, further affecting health systems, individuals and communities.
