HiveFest 6, Day One - It ended with a beer

This is not a thorough report of the first day at HiveFest 6, far from it. It is simply a short note on how it ended, minutes ago.

It was @detlev's presentation about #beersaturday and some novelties connected to #beer. Namely:

BEERpong game

Can you throw the ping pong ball in the beer glass? I managed it in a sixth try.

I am looking forward to the development of this game and the site.

For the first day, I was dropping in and out and didn't talk to anybody. It's Friday afternoon after all and we do have family stuff to do.

It was great... Shame there is not enough time to have a chat with everyone.

A lot more people compared with last year I would say. Which is nice!

I need a !BEER... too hot in here...
!WINE will do too, if cold!

Some prefer to do it on top of !PIZZA... don't know yet why? !LOL

While on the daily run, a few hours ago, I was thinking about connecting the game to the blockchain.

Like:

  • results published on a blockchain,
  • daily, weekly, monthly leaderboard with rewards (options: Beer, BeerPower, Sports, SportsPower, Hive, HivePower, ...) transacted on a blockchain,
  • posting results (semi-automatically) on Hive,
  • sharing results on Twitter, ...
  • Premium mode (let's say one-time fee of 5 BEER) with perks:
    -- more balls
    -- auto posting results on DBuzz,
    -- special rewards,
  • special events, ...
