Congratulations on hitting the epic milestone of 1000 subscribers my friend! That really is a fabulous milestone. I know it has taken many, many long hours of reading through posts, reading through and judging contest entries and so many other time consuming activities so it was earned rather than something that just happened.
Very well done Melinda, you deserve the thriving and vibrant little corner of the blockchain that you've carved out and nurtured for so long.

Such kind words! Thank you for the the encouragement. . The bad part about communities is that you spend so much time in them that you often don't get around to see what your friends are doing! This was a perfect nudge to remind me to stop by!

It's definitely a challenge isn't it, trying to keep up with everything you intend to on the blockchain? I feel exactly the same way. Today has been very much a catchup day for me before work starts again tomorrow. I am always so far behind on replying to those kind enough to engage, I always feel so bad.
It crossed my mind to check out if there was an active feathered friends comment/story contest, I enjoyed those a lot when I had the time to take part, hence me stumbling across your fabulous 1000 member announcement.
We always find our way back to those we have connected with eventually lol. Really lovely to cross paths with you again my friend, I have added feathered friends to my list of things to catch-up with over the next week or so, a list 'sometimes' helps me keep on track. I have added it next to shadow hunters which Galen assures me I will love taking part in.

I wish I had more time and could get the FF Comment Contest going again. That was fun.
Oh that sounds like something I 'cannot' ignore, the chance to act nonsensical and make 13 year old level jokes... I'm in!
Thanks for taking the time to find the link my friend, I appreciate it. Don't worry if it's expired or anything, I always check the current contest dates and such, although if that sounds like I am saying I have a decent level of common sense... I should point out that a couple of weeks back I tied one of my left shoelaces to one of my right shoelaces!!!
Next year I turn 50 I'm sure that's the year I will finally mature... 📅😜
Good luck with maturing at 50! I just turned 66 and I'm still waiting for the day I feel like a grownup.
