When you do something, you want to be successful in that. That's your target. Maybe you want to be successful fast because you want to show someone that you did it and you are successful. So you are looking for a shortcut or some magic formula.
Some formula or shortcuts might work temporarily, but it will not work later. Then what would you do? You have the wrong image in your head that you have to succeed fast. When you follow some shortcuts, you will hamper your progress. It will take you away from your destination.

The sentence you told that " There is no shortcut " is true. People who want to apply shortcut without trying to know the basic will never be a good learner. Teens think like that, you cannot blame them for everything. Unfortunately, some grown-up people around them want young people to figure out their lives when they themselves could not figure out their life. People appreciate it when they see success and they keep spreading negative vibes when they do not see instant success.
