It is so profound, the loss of one's mom. I have words, but, not now. She was such a talented, spirited woman and she raised you well.

Oh, you sweet, sweet woman. Here my heart is breaking for you and you out here, braving it out. I love your heart and your mom would be so proud of you. What you wrote about her was touching, so that even if a person didn't even know her, they would want to grieve the loss of such a human being.

The undone painting is so like you, keeping it until you get to that place where she was, or close, and finish it. The elephant trunk! Absolutely stunning!

I can continue on and on. Thank you for the generous tip, thank you for taking the time (especially at this time) to answer every single one of these and just know that no response is needed. I just cannot explain, but, my heart is heavy for you. Truly. Perhaps because it wasn't so long, I was standing in your shoes, wondering how I was going to continue without her. I can say that you just do. She will live on through you and all the wonderful memories she gave you.
