Christmas Shopping

I'm the type of person who goes to the mall only when I need to buy some stuff. In this case, I needed to do some Christmas shopping for giveaways. I have but a short list, so I didn't need to stay that long.





The Christmas season is a huge occasion for commercial establishments. It's the only time of the year when a lot of folks tend to splurge on purchases. I try to avoid the crowds, so I usually buy ahead of time or on weekdays to avoid the long queue.





I went to pick up some orders for my direct-selling business. On the way back home, I dropped by the mall to complete my shopping for giveaways. It was a little past lunch when I got there, so I decided to have a combo lunch at Pizza Hut.





After my quick meal, it was time to explore the mall. This is a different mall from my neighborhood one. It's bigger and there are more merchants. There are also more shoppers, as the cheaper brands could be found here.





I saw this lovely stall that sells sweets, mostly chocolate goodies that have been molded into different shapes. Some have popular characters that are appealing to children. Others are shaped like flowers.





Do you spot familiar characters? Mmmm... guaranteed to fulfill one's sweet tooth!





Another reason to stop by this mall is to buy my daughter's favorite brownies. She doesn't like chocolate that much, but she fancies the cheesecake swirl.





These baked goodies are not too expensive, and they would also make good giveaways. I finished my shopping earlier than intended, so I had a bit of time to kill. I stopped for coffee (photo of which I have already shared via APPICS). I was fascinated with the fruit juice stall right across from where I was seated.





Fresh fruit juices are definitely healthier alternatives to sodas. I would recommend them anytime. That's it for this week's #marketFriday edition.
