My Hive Goals 2020
I've been trying to settle on some goals for a couple of days. I've read the inital post by @robwillmann and thought that it might be a great idea to write down my goals in the context of the #myhivegoals challenge.
My long term strategy
In the long term, my strategy is based on two pillars.
Pillar 1: Earning crypto
I've been working on this part for quite some time. I try to build up multiple streams of income where I can earn active or passive income. Here a list of income sources that I have compiled and that I'm using:
- Content creation on Hive, Publish0x and Lbry
- Income from faucets and micro earning websites composed of my own activity and the activity of my referrals
- Income from adnetworks on my website
- Income from Splinterlands
Over time I have developed these income sources through content creation, list building but also through promotion. I've realized that it is quite difficult to scale this income. Thanks to my list and online courses, I can get some new referrals but it hardly compensates for the referrals that I loose because of organic reasons. The income is quite stable like that and my target is to keep it like that if possible.
Pillar 2: Return on invested crypto
I have discovered many possible ways to have a return on my crypto. This is what I would call an investment strategy and it has to be differentiated from speculation. Speculation is to acquire tokens for a certain price in order to sell them for a higher price. What I do is invest in something that brings me regular returns. Here a list of my crypto investments:
- Hive staking
- Hive-engine tokens staking (CTP, Leo)
- Tron staking
- Wink staking
- Interests on BTC on bitfinex and freebitcoin
It is this second pillar that I want to develop and for which I have certain goals.
Here my targets that I want to reach before the end of the Year:

Nice targets out there... :) I don't know about Tron, but I have no doubt in your HP and CTP Power goals... you will get there for sure...
Btw... I see that you have mentioned Publish0x... I was creating there back in days when I had Movies channel, but I stopped... It's not that I quit just like that, it's that I didn't have enough time for the "movies thing"...
How are things going there lately?
Lately I'm using my DEC to buy CTP so I believe that I will reach the CTP goals quite quickly. For Hive it will be more hard work ;-).
Publish0x is actually an interesting platform not really in terms of earning but I get a lot of referrals there. There are people who are interested in crypto and want to earn some coins. I get the best results with tutorials and some ref links included in the text. I got some people for Lbry or my faucet lists. Earnings per post are quite low between 0 and 0.3$ for me but I don't have a lot of followers.
Currently, I'm buying DEC with my powered down Steem, and convert it to HIVE... lol...
and regarding Publish0x, I forgot your affiliate programs... It is a perfect platform to advertise your faucets... You have figure it out well that part... ;)
