The CTP Update - Sad & Exciting News From A Very Busy Few Weeks
We've got a lot to go over in this update...It's been a very busy time here in the CTP community!
R.I.P. Cruisin
Our biggest supporter and number 1 token holder of CTPM and always near the top of CTP Rob Paris AKA @cruisin recently passed away.
This sadly was not unexpected as Rob has been battling cancer for a decade. Such a huge loss for our community and I did a brief little tribute for him last night!
Rob knew his time was coming and left CTP with a massive gift in his passing. He wanted his tokens to be put to good use to continue to support the community...So they have been delegated to the @ctpsb project.
Such a selfless act and showed the kind of guy Rob was! May he rest in peace but going forward, we will always make sure to carry his legacy with this tribe and community.
Love you Rob, thank you for being such a huge reason CTP exists!!

About a month ago we released @hivepay-io to the blockchain.
This was built out of a desire to not only provide entrepreneurs with ways to tap into this eco-system. But also to rid the world of traditional finance and get into crypto as a way to accept payments on your websites!

The Index Token

We built this for the every day crypto enthusiast that may not want to learn about 10 different projects on Hive-Engine, but still wanted some skin in the game. We think the INDEX is the best way to make that happen!

I didn't realize that Index was a CTP project.
Will the admin fees feed CTP, or the person who is running the project?
Curiously asking to see if I should buy more CTP, although I know the answer is always YES (lol).
I bought myself just 5 coins as I am trying to grow my LEO account to 2500, but hey, buying index is buying LEO.

LOL I mean eventually CTP will be listed in INDEX...We plan to add the bulk of performing tokens eventually..But we wanted to start off with 10 to see how it all works.
Yeah we're into a lot of things. Always trying to stay busy :)
And SPI was a top performer over the past few weeks on Hive Engine, so a no brainer to add it.
The 'official' updates right now will go through @he-index or @jongolson
We have so many accounts now lol Hard to keep up with all the updates on each.

The Index is interesting an ETF for the Hive blockchain. Indexes usually outperform the market and normal investors, so it should be a very safe bet for every investor!
Love to see so much progress and development around!
BTW, you got yourself a great name for the Monday, will not tag him as I think he is spammed by a lot of people!

Yeah we wanted to start slow with 10 tokens...to make sure the code worked and everything was working smoothly...48 hours in and so far so good :)

R.I.P. Rob... I didn't know him for a long time, but he was one of the first people that I have met in SteemSavvy Discord, and was in ZOOM chat with him! A great and authentic man... There are not a lot like him...

Sorry to read about the loss of such a valued member of your community. It is always tough when a pillar passes away. Hard for communities to overcome that. With time they do, but it is not easy.
I'm going to keep touting that INDEX token. Couldnt resist buying some more. Such a grand idea.

Wow my condolences to Robs family and what an amazing gift to the community. Onwards and upwards for CTP
Rob is sorely missed, a man who said what he meant without holding anything back, may he rest in peace.
Great work with Hivepay and the Index token, really putting CTP on the mind of people once they know who is behind them, I wish you an awesone Friday and weekend.
Very much looking forward to JonGo and taskmaster4450 getting together on Monday.
But definitely going to miss Rob just cruisin around
