Nice CTP price bump thanks to CTPSB

nice price bump.jpg

Lately the price of CTP has been dropping continuously in a market with very little movement. Today it was time to pay the dividends for the CTPSB delegators. Let's say that this had quite some influence on the market...

When we pay dividends we are actually buying CTP tokens for the dividends on the market. Since the market is lacking liquidity, this buying activity had a very notable effect.

The last transaction before our activity was a sell order for 0.012 Hive per CTP. We have then purchased all orders in the book that we needed for the dividends and the price went up to 0.041 Hive per CTP. This is an increase of 241%!

Keeping in mind that we will have the power up challenge in August, profit from cheap CTP tokens!

The price will probably drop again but I think it could be a good idea to put some low buy orders now. If you can buy CTP around 0.015 Hive, this will give you a huge edge for the CTP Power up challenge coming in August. Just don't power the tokens up yet ;-)

CTPSB Standing_18.07.21.jpg

15.15% APR for delegators

We have put a very big amount of CTP tokens to the delegators. In spite of low CTP prices, this represented an APR of 15.15% which is almost at par with what you would get for delegating to leo.voter.

77.2% ARP for CTPSB holders

The return on CTPSB tokens is still very high. It cam down a little bit from 77.7 to 77.2% mainly because of the reduced curation rewards during the transition phase related to HF25.

It's a good idea to keep your ctp. Maybe wait till you stake them for august. There will be a staking challenge with nice prices!

I always believe that CTP has hardworking team behind it and it will grow significantly in long run. Apr of over 15% is nice and I am looking forward for August Power up challenge and for this I start accumulation from today.

Is there any future development plan for CTP tribe?

We had a road map for 2021. But life happened, and our dev team hit a few snags.

As for myself, I've been on the road for the past month trying to stay online as much as I can.

Have to remember that CTP is much bigger than just Hive. Our tribe per se, is part of a larger community off chain, so we're always doing things. And bringing people to Hive.

Just not as noticeable and we need to do a better job of it.

I am glad I haven't accidently powered up the CTP I am holding. I think the low prices are the best time for people to gather CTP.

So good to see such a good jump in prices after so many days. Hope this continues and the selling pressure dont continue.

There is very little volume on the market and a couple of sales orders can make the market tank. I hope that the CTP Power Up challenge will bring some buy pressure to CTP !

Oh yes, I can see that there is a very little volume. Do we need the market makers to introduce the liquidity into the CTP market. If you know of any bots, let me know, I can try.

A market maker bot could definitely be an interesting solution to provide liquidity. There is a bot for sale https://dswap.trade/pricing by the owners of hive-engine

I also wanted to understand if the returns of 77.2% are provided just for holding the CTPSB tokens or do we also have to power them up, because I am holding a small amount of #ctpsb but have not seen any additions to my portfolio.
Additionally, I also wanted to know, when do we get the ctpsb votes for delegation to #ctpsb. Is there any kind of threshold for these votes ?

Even I am having the question related to #ctpsb votes. I have delegated #ctp to this account and I have also purchased the #ctpsb tokens from the market but I have rarely received any votes for the posts from the #ctpsb account. Even I would be happy to understand if there is any kind of threshold for the same ?

Thanks a lot for your questions.
The 77.2% APR are on holding CTPSB tokens. No need to stake them. What you have to understand is that the CTPSB token has a theoretical value that corresponds to the Hive Power on the @ctpsb account divided by the number of tokens in circulation. You can always find this value under the following link: https://ref-hunters.ch/ctpsb/index.php

The theoretical value is increasing at the rate of about 77.2% at the moment and the market maker reproduces this value on the market. You just need to keep the tokens and they will increase in value (expressed in hive).

About the voting:
We want to make clear that CTPSB is not a project where you can delegate to get upvotes. When you delegate Hive Power, you get weekly dividends in the form of CTP tokens. CTPSB is a community project that supports the authors within the CTP tribe. The upvotes are given to people who regularly write appropriate content that has a minimal quality standard and has the CTP tag on it. The other requirement is that authors have a consequent amount of CTP tokens staked.

We gladly check out authors to see whether they would qualify. They can be suggested in a comment on our posts for example.

I hope this answers your questions. Feel free to ask more of them :-)

I am so happy to understand the way you have explained the whole thing. Thanks a lot @ctpsb. This now clears a lot of doubts in my mind. I am comparatively new to this platform. Hence, I am trying to understand the dynamics over here and sometimes get confused in #ctp and #ctpsb. But your explanation makes me understand the exact difference between the two and how #ctpsb works.
