Be The Purple Cow
My thoughts on what I believe to be the most important part of building a brand. Seth Godin said it best when he said we should be the purple cow.
Don't be afraid to be all that encompasses YOU - after all, there is only ONE you!

Nice tips about branding, standing out, and presentation matters.
Thank you. I appreciate your kind words.
archon an awesome tag to be used, you are most welcome, have a lovely day!
Ahahahahaha "It's really hot here". Funny.
You had me at 'Seth Godin'.
Different, unique, available. It's what you are and good advice to us all no matter the 'arena' we are in.
I think of another Seth Godin line when I watch this: Choose yourself. And another "Dance with your fear." Nicely done Jangle.
It IS super hot!!!! In your language it was almost 103 with humidity the last 2 days. It seems to have broken but thats HAWT!!
Seth Godin is amazing.
I appreciate your comment, Tom :) Even though you mock my weather LOL
In your language it is currently 30C right now. 45 minutes to sunup :) We are also in a cooling trend...
That is really great advice Jannelle, and what I have found is that to do this successfully over time you need to be your original self and then present that in a way which grabs attention and interest, and also videos are very good for branding, it builds know, like and trust 10 times faster than any written blog, keep up your great work.
Thank you. It's a huge challenge for me but I'm having fun trying to master it. Very much outside of my comfort zone. Thank you for your comments and support.
Great video message today, love it!😀👍
Thank you so much, Paul :)
Great video about branding yourself & being authentic. For me, being the purple cow is being the Pixie Post & spreading Pixie Dust. It also comes with the growth process, the journey. Even my "catch phrase" was born in one video I happened to do & now I use it to end most videos now. It's all about what is unique about YOU and creating a formula to create your brand to put out there. :)
I like this videos, my friend. Keep it up! :) 💜
As always, thank you for being a friend <----see what I did there, Sophia?
Hehehe yes I did. Picture it...Reno NV...🤣😉
Thank you for the reminder to Stick Out Like a Sore Thumb! Another concept just like Purple Cow.
Thank you, Steven for the comment. Stick Out Like A Sore Thumb...reminds me of old school CTP training :D
That's right It is one of Jon's sayings
You are right... I see a 90% of people doing the same thing over and over again... And it doesn't work... and the reason is exactly what you are saying... They don't stand-out!
I don't say that I stand out from the crowd and I'm the best, but always try to improve myself and my content... Trying to contribute and to bring some value to readers... Maybe that's isn't revolutionary at the moment, but I have noticed that my color is changing a bit... :)
And, I can see that in your videos and your blog posts... You are on a good path, continue what you are doing... ;)
Cheers!

Good ole Seth
I think that I am just different and that makes a difference provided I do things Differently
But maybe I am just diverse with a great sense of diversity that defines the difference is deferentially different .
See I told you I was different
You are uniquely you! :)
Great topic Janelle, I wish I watched this video before I made a video on almost the same subject. lol But I go at it with a different angle so I think I will be OK
I think it's a topic that people can never talk about enough!
