RE: What does crypto represent for you?

When did you start with crypto?

I learned about crypto fairly early in 2011 or 2012. One of my roommates wanted us to chip in for a graphics card to mine BTC which was around $15. I never did get any BTC from this encounter and left it alone as the amount wasn't anything to fret over. Though looking at current prices, it might of been a lot.

In about 2013 or 2014, I bought some BTC and spent it in a game as it helped them pay off server costs and it gave me some permanent things in the game. I stopped playing the game shortly after so I guess it was the most expensive thing in a game I paid for looking at current prices. I currently have some crypto like BTC that I plan to HODL and haven't really been back in the crypto space until last year.

What are your primary income sources in the cryptoworld?

Currently I am most active in HIVE where I am posting, commenting and curating. Also there are games like Rising Star and Splinterlands to earn some crypto. I have also invested in a few passive income tokens like LBI, INDEX and DHEDGE (fairly small positions right now). I am also playing Alien Worlds and Kolobok on the Wax Blockchain so I am getting both TLM and Aether.

What does your income from crypto represent for you in terms of your daily budget?

It doesn't represent much as I live in the California where prices are huge. I don't even think what I earn in a month covers the money I spend in a month. I am not taking any money out of the system and plan to compound it so I have even bigger returns. Hopefully I can be financially independent and live just based on my HIVE earnings.

I know this feeling very well. For a long time I had the feeling that I was loosing my time and my money with my online activity. However, the more your grow your stakes the more the picture starts to change. It takes time and effort but then the thing starts to take speed :-)
