Elon musk wasn't here before and BTC has been thriving, if he sells all his btc, surly there will be dips but then it'll just be bought up again.

Exactly... He wasn't there, and it has to happen sooner or later, so it is just one shake more for Bitcoin... As I said in the post, we have "survived" much worse things than Elon :)
