Oh man, Klammlose, amazing. I've probably made several thousand € during the years with these! Good old times ;-)
I've actually started earning money online as early as 1999. I've been writing short articles on sites like Ciao.de, Yopi.de, Hitwin.de. It was a crazy time for me. I was still going to school at the time and I've earned more money than all my peers working pupil jobs - all from home and with very low effort.
Then there was the whole Paid4 stuff, like Klamm you mentioned, and I've also made a lot of money there, mostly by referring people to the various sites.
Once that died down, I mostly focused on Hex TCG - an online trading card game which I milked for some time. I sadly missed most of the crypto train, only got to it in late 2019. I'm building and growing ever since and just like you, I want to eventually be able to live from cryptocurrency. You don't need as much money in Southern Germany as you need in Switzerland, but stuff is still pretty expensive around here so it's still quite a long journey. Still, I'll enjoy every step of it ;-)

I loved all the gambling and ad sites. Then you could kind of stake the Klammlose and get interests. It was really great but in the end the inflation kind of killed it :-).
For a long time I didn't believe that one day I would even come close to earn enough money on the internet to live from it. Lately things have developed quite nicely however and maybe it's not so utopical anymore.
I belive that living costs in countries like germany and switzerland are pretty high but I wonder whether this will not change in the near future with all the effects of the pandemia... At least crypto seems a very encouraging plan B...
