How many posts do you create per week?

avatar

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

A couple of days ago, I made my monthly report post about my Hive goals and I realized that I was far behind schedule. The main reason is that I don't create as many posts as I would like to. Today, I would like to explore a bit how many posts people create on average:

How many posts do you create per week on average? Are you happy with your post output or would you like to create more posts?

Write your answer in a comment below this post to take part in the Liotes Mission.

The Liotes Mission

By taking part in the Liotes missions, you can win credits that will help you to increase your score and your title in the Liotes Ranking.

People who submit an answer will get 4 credits for the Liotes ranking.

We are very grateful if you enter the challenge within 24 hours after the post is published. We will try to count entries up to 36 hours after publication.

Sadly, I’m only getting one post out per week at best right now. With work and a baby at home, it’s just too hard to find the extra time to write as well. I’m hoping I am nearing a point where things at work will slow down and I will have a bit of time to get multiple out a week again. !LUV

leofinance is starting their short content interface any minute now, that may be right up your alley.

From what I understand the content does not have to be finance related.

I create 7 weekly posts, I do a daily giveaway, that gives me a base. Then I usually do some more publication, either follow-up or specific topics of interest to me.

I only post when I want. Sometimes that’s 10 a week and sometimes it’s zero.

!PIZZA.

I think that if I needed the money I would post more. I used to feel tons of pressure to post so I could make more hive. Now I have invested a lot of income producing tokens and such I still get hive daily and posting is a bonus.

That's a good setup... As I have created a huge HivePower goal, I'm trying to motivate myself to create content, despite the fact that I have layer-2 income from pools, games, etc...

I write everyday. I make about 7-9 posts every week.

I stopped for a while, but I'm back to doing it every week. Thank you @liotes for your support. I see it from time to time and I appreciate!

I think that 7-9 posts per week are a fair amount... From the beginning of this blockchain, it was an unwritten rule of 1 post per day...

1 post every day ~ 7 posts every week 🤔 The output is kinda good and better day by day. Join Community, spread to more communities, and share what I learn to make someone know something too. Then, stuck because busy with real work and don't see any hot news in HIVE Community. So, I just keep in check with the Hive community with my daily giveaway in Rising Star Community.

1 post per day should be the right amount for HIVE... If you want to create quality content, it's hard to prepare material for more...

Yes, absolutely hard... I just could make it around 2 weeks before 🤔 Then, No idea again... but if something nice happens, I'll post it too 🤗

I never posted so much as I did last month. I think I posted once every 2 days on average. Usually it's not that much. But it really depends on how much free time I have, as my priority is family and work.

In summer, I was able to post every day. However, when the workload is unbearable, it may decrease up to 2-3 posts per week :I

However, below 5 posts per week makes me deeply sad.

I do three posts a week focused on my niche, but I want to try to add two more on general topics and reflections. It's hard to organize our time to be able to post quality content all the time, so I prefer to make fewer posts and maintain a high quality!

I create 1 to 2 post per week. I would like to create 1 to 2 post per week.
I generally leave 5 or more comments per day.

I retired so I am not wanting to have my blogging to feel like a job. I post when I find something interesting to post about. Information that others might find helpful. I target to get my 10 Hive to powerup at the first of the month.

I try to write up one a week at this point, as a Splinterlands blog. I was trying to do 2 a week with game reviews when I started, but haven't had time to play that many games since I started my new job - let alone write about them.

I must admit that my average number of posts per week right now is less than one per week. I would love to do more. However, between church, family, and work, I do not spend as much time online as I would like and when I do, I have a tendency to play Splinterlands and Rising Star and/or enter giveaways to win cards/tokens for those games. This is not an excuse, just an explanation. These priorities are my choice.

Most of my posts lately have been creating a primer of how to play Splinterlands for Complete Newbies (which now needs to be updated with the most recent changes in game play and rewards). I would like to spend more time on my Family History posts, but they just seem to slip through the cracks.

I know I'm not doing what I would like to do but I am getting them out as quick as I can.

I would say that I post about 3 times a week on average. I truly would like to make about 10 post a week.

I do my weekly goals and that's without a given. Right now I'm on a 30 day challenge & I'm working on my 'Tokens On My Radar' Series where I've been getting maybe 2 posts a week on that. I only have about 2 weeks left in my challenge so that will put me back a little unless I can swoop right in with other content I've been thinking about doing.

Some days I manage to get 2 posts in but that's very rare. but if I can just dive into one post after the other, I figure I could get the 10 in easily. However, life always seem to get in the way, there's always something that needs to be done that takes me away from what I want to be doing, which is sit here and create.

It's not easy doing what you want. You still got to eat & sleep and take care of yourself and for some family. For me it's just me and my husband and he knows when to leave me alone.

There is always a gap between what we want and what we can. I think it's important to be realistic and find a sustainable way to make our posts. I think it's better to create consistently 3 posts per week rather than make 10 posts one week and then none for a month :-)

0
0
0.000
avatar

I do agree! Although I can't get in the 10 I would like I just deal with it by starting my next post as soon as I finish one. This way even with life's ups & downs, I manage that 3-4 every week & I try to keep that consistency to build upon. I figure life won't always be like this, it's gotta slow down at some point.

I write exactly zero posts per week. In fact, this is actually one of the few comments I make during the week. I own a small business and between that, my family, golf, and making sure I do my gaming tasks, I barely have time to sleep let alone write anything.

Fortunately my business is seasonal so I'll have a few months off over the winter where I'll become more involved with curation, posting, etc. But until then, the best way for me to make money is to put my time and effort into my business. Hopefully my crypto can continue to work for me outside of me putting much effort into it. I read a few articles daily and do my voting as well as check on my defi LPs. Other than that, this is it.

Obviously, if I ever want to go full-time crypto that will have to change. But I'm still young enough that doing the work is much more lucrative and productive than building by articles and curation.

I also have a offline business and it takes priority over my hive activity. I think that when our time is limited, we need to end up by setting priorities.

I go for a minimum of 1 post a day, which means 7 posts/week 😄. This is all thanks to the gamification provided by HPUM to push me along.

However, the actual figure is probably closer to 7-10 posts. Whilst I would like to post a bit more, the amount I can post daily is mostly restricted by the lack of time.

Before joining Listnerd I was making only one Actifit post a day, and you can check, it wasn't just simple 3 words posts. But since joining LN I try to write something more meaningful and maybe useful to other people as well every 3 days or so and the plan is to grow on that but I don't want to force it and just post for the sake of posting. That's something I don't like with many Hivers, some just post to get the post count higher.

Voted on ListNerds!

Everyday, I do atleast 2 posts (including actifit post).
But, some days i do more than 2. So on average 14 posts per week.

I want to increase it to 3/4 per day (including actifit post). But i need to introduce variety first and then increase the post count gradually.
