Blockchain Gaming .:. Hump Day Easy Talk
I know that I had this title already, but to defend myself it wasn't in this "easy talk" series... :) In this one, I went a lot of time in my personal past when I started my computer gaming history... With games like Civilization or Colonization... Those were my ice-breaking games, and I paid the price for playing them with wearing glasses today... lol... The monochromatic monitor back in the days with radiation levels like in Chernobyl wasn't a good combination for a teenage kid... :)
Anyways, I have tried a lot of different games in my life, from these legendary strategies, through driving simulation, first-person shooters, mobile games, etc. until the moment when I discovered these blockchain games where I am at the moment... Just fell in love with the idea of playing the game, having fun, earning additional crypto, investing in my character/profile, and lately, collecting these NFTs... I didn't pay too much attention to NFTs before, but it looks that the time has come to do that...

I didn't know you are so dedicated to blockchain games. I see your Splinterlands post regularly. And you are involved in playing blockchain-based games. I did not play Splinterlands. I saw many people were playing. And people talk about NFTs. I first got into dCity, and tried to get the taste of NFTs. In the beginning, it was pretty good. Then comes bear market in dCity... ;) And you know the feeling better.
Well, it's not that I was dedicated, but it is an interesting field for some future developments... It's more investigating the market and how to be on the "other side" one day... Maybe as a game creator/developer...
The gaming industry is huge, and games on blockchains are still very rare and there is a lot of potential...

ENGAGEtokens.Yea I don't exactly like to buy skins and stuff like that. You can't even sell them to other people. I think back when I played Runescape I did buy some of the holiday items like party hats. Though I lost the items when I let my cousin use the account and it ended up getting hacked. Those decorative items could at least be traded and sold so it was much better than skins.
As for Alien Worlds, I think its because its free to play and anyone can start. It is simple for anyone to get started. I think the current prices of NFTs in a little overblown in Alien Worlds due to the increase in TLM prices. I ended up unstaking my abundant tools and selling them off today. I guess taking in profits of about $120 in WAX isn't bad and I think WAX has potential to increase higher.
Well, neither do I, but a lot of "ordinary" players did buy... I remember when my son was telling me that most of his friends were buying skins and those "decorative" items in some mobile games... I can't say that I'm an "ordinary" player and sometimes it is hard to put yourself in others' skin... Probably, you aren't either an "ordinary" player... :) As all the rest were buying stuff, and you and I didn't :) :)
And regarding Alien Worlds, agree with you that the prices of items and the game itself are overvalued at the moment... On the other side, WAX can go up a lot more... it depends on things that will be built on it...
