Dream Of One Job .:. Hump Day Easy Talk
I know that most of you guys and girls have one "regular", or "offline" job and doing the crypto thing as a second (or third) job, but sometimes, in the past, it wasn't like that... Most of the people had one job, and most of them did that job for almost whole their life... I know that my grandfather was like that, and my father was almost like that... The changes started somewhere in '80-'90-ies...
Today, it's completely different... It's not that people are changing jobs through life, but also they are changing professions too! And that's not the end of the story... With all these advanced technologies, people have expected that they will have to work less and that robots or machines will do the work for them... In theory, it should be like that, but in reality, it isn't...
Actually, it's the opposite... People have to work more than one job just to survive... It's not a rare case that it becomes 2-3 parallel jobs at the same time... Sometimes, it is needed because of the low salaries for some jobs, but sometimes it is just a matter of choice... I like to do more than 2 jobs because I like to be challenged and I like to diversify my knowledge and finances... That gives me the feeling of better financial and mental stability...

Great job for new daily ctp reward
I don't understand the comment... What do you want to say?
I said you are doing a good job
Technology is improving so fast and its reducing the need for a single job most of the time. You need less time to do the same things now than you did 10 years ago. Either by using machines to do the work for you or using machines to reduce the complexity and time of the work.
I do think the diversification is quite nice because I would be too worried if I only had one source of income. You never know when technology will make it obsolete or it fails for some weird reason.
What you said is true, but it's not like that in the real-life... Instead of working less, people have to work more to get enough funds for a living...

.People do not have to rely on a single job anymore. We can do multiple things. The technology we have now makes it possible. As you said, even in crypto, we can do different things, work on different blockchains, investment, trading, or, even playing games. ;)
Exactly... I don't mind working more jobs at the same time if I want to do them... The problem is that some people are forced to do more jobs just to survive... and that's not good... One job should be enough for a decent living...

I have certainly witnessed this in my lifetime. My Dad was the first example. He was working in the automobile industry in our town when I was very young. If he wanted to stay with the job he was doing we would have had to move to another state. Mom didn't want to move away from her parents because my grandfather was ill. Dad took a job with less pay but we were able to stay put. He was at that job until his early 60s and then it went away too. His final job was a bank teller. He loved because he loved interacting with people. My mother worked from when my youngest sister was two years old as our school and church secretary. And to put us all through parochial school we helped them clean a local beauty salon on the weekends to get extra money. The phenomenon of having to work more than one job in parallel or switching careers started even earlier than the 80s in some cases.
Agree with you about switching careers... Sometimes, it's just too boring to do the same job for 10, 20, or 30 years, and people change it because they want... and that's totally OK... I'm more worried about working multiple jobs at the same time, which usually means fewer times for family, friends, and relaxation...
And, at a certain point in time, we bump to the question... For what do we work at all if we can't enjoy as we have no free time?

Oh, I very much agree with that last statement, especially. I feel bad for people who have been forced into that situation. Work until you drop. No fun at all. Even someone choosing that sort of life is puzzling to me. Enjoy your Sunday! 😀
