#MyHiveGoals - June 4, 2020 - Winning by doing simple things day after day
It's been great seeing the number of people who have started using #MyHivGoals to document their success journey.
I believe in goal setting, and that's what I use the #MyHiveGoals for. I set specific goals that I can shoot for.
I've recently been reading a book called "Consistency is the New Currency" and it has really helped me focus on the small things that I need to work on. Specifically, this book doesn't tell you to set goals like what we are doing here, but to work toward a 'direction' using an "ER" goal: smarter, better, faster, etc. I posted about that here: https://peakd.com/ctp/@robwillmann/myhivegoals-do-goals-need-a-date-i-say-no-and-here-s-why
I also make sure that I am consistently working toward my goals and document where I am at by marking each day with an X on my calendar when I meet my direction goal. This is called #doNotBreakTheChain and it's been effective in helping me with my auto-responder email work.

GOAL: 2500
Percent to goal: 8.6%

Today: 217.4
Now that I have begun posting daily on peakD, I've started to receive an increase in Hive.
I also use BradleyArrow's curation trail for a small boost as well.
CTP
GOAL: 25,000 CTP
Percent to goal: 35.23%
Yesterday: 8799
Today: 8819
Daily curation results from BradleyArrow's curation trail, and my own daily postings to the ctptalk channel are going to be paying off soon.
I make sure that I post some meaningful content daily on CTP and PeakD. It works. :)
DJOTD (Dad Joke of the Day Videos)
GOAL: 250
Percent to Goal: 24%
Yesterday: 59
Today: 60
Super excited about my dad jokes and how I am building more and more momentum in this area.

I will hit this goal first, which is a win. :)
My main site is useful for delivering quality traffic to my autoresponder\list which is where my true marketing emphasis lies at the moment. I am getting daily subscribers to my list, so this is a win.
