Well, you said a lot of truth inside this chatter... It's hard to be consistent, create every day, and come out with a new topic... It's not impossible, and I see some authors successfully doing that...

But, on the other side, there are some authors that doing it just for a sake of consistency, and posting the same content over and over again... As I said in previous paragraph, it is possible to create different content, and there are a lot of inspirational posts that can trigger the idea...

I do a similar thing as your wheelspins with my Splinterlands giveaway... It looks like the same content every day, but still, it has value (giveaway card) + I try to add a bit of daily blogging around the game... But, giveaways are different thing, as their value is in the prize and engagement, not so much in the content...

My favorite 3 apps on the phone...

  • Blockfolio
  • Ecency and Dapplr (depends on my mood which one I use)
  • YouCut

but there are a lot more that I use every day... Twitter, Brave, Gmail, Telegram, Discord, Canva, Teamviewer... :)

It can be hard to come up with new content every day, but as I said in a previous post, their is inspiration everywhere we just need to have our eyes open.

I really must look harder at Splinterlands, I have tried a couple of times but not seriously :)

I haven't tried You Cut, I should try it , I believe I have it installed , just haven't got into it

I also have ecency,
I installed Dappler but I dislike hivesigner immensely and try and steer away from it

Yeah, hivesigner is a pain in the a$$... I still can't believe how could they create so confusing tool? I mean, I don't know for any other more confusing tool... lol...

I'm really concerned about an industrial short cut problem. I feel that vaccine development for CV 19 has been 'shortcut' and that concerns me greatly.

I've used a 'not too formal' template for series of posts. 'Travels with Connie used the first paragraph every time (I especially like 'Sometimes I just follow my front wheel to see where it takes me). The content was always completely different. It saved me gobs of time that I could spend on my post.

My three phone apps?
Merlin: Bird Identification. I can compare every bird in North America with the one I am looking at.

Night Sky: Looking at anything in the sky. It's GPS driven so where I point it is what I ID.

Amazon Music: I'm listening right now.

Industrial short cuts have often created bigger problems than what they are trying to fix i the first place

I love templates, it saves me a lo of work for things I want to be consistent.
I have however made a spammer lost as a result of templates, but will work against that

Thanks for the App suggestions, I will look at them :)

I try to blog as often as I can, but if I don't have anything to blog about I use my time on other things here on Hive like curating and engaging on other peoples posts.
I think it is important to get known and to make people like you so you can build up your subscription base.

I don't use my phone much, it often gets decharged because I forget about it.
I mostly use the social media apps when I use it.
like
Youtube,
Facebook and
Facebook Messenger.

I like writing posts, and will often just write something that comes to mind, or jot down a note on my phone

I like to comment when I can as well, but its a fine line between obsession and enjoyment :0

Wow, there is so much I want to comment on in this video. I know I will probably miss something lol :)

Spam is something that really gets under my skin. As entrepreneurs, of course, it's par for the course. We will have times we will encounter this. But it's not something we should practice. When someone just posts a link & throws the same stuff up on a post every day, it just irritates me & I will pass it over, not even read or watch it. It shows that all they care about is the money or the sign ups, not us as a valuable reader/viewer. I feel it's totally fine to offer different products or services, but also build a relationship with your audience. Engage, express interest in them, post VALUABLE content (at least on a basic level), & pull them in a way that shows they are not just a number. I cannot express this enough. For me, spam just gets ignored and/or deleted. I tend to lose respect for people who insist on continuing it as well.

I admit, coming up with original content can be tough sometimes. I love being creative & doing different types of vlogs, etc. But there are some days I cannot think of a thing or I am just TIRED. (OMG, I am human! LOL) So, lately, on and off, I have been doing a couple of videos together so I have one to use when I am in such a state. It really helps keep the pressure off & allows me to have the breathing room to think of something to vlog about when I return. :)

It's all a fine line & sometimes, it's trial & error. But if your intentions are true, & you show up every day, then you will succeed. ;)

3 Apps/Dapps I love on my phone are @dapplr, Brave Browser, & Instacart 🤣

I have an inbox that often gets deleted :) I know who emails me good stuff and my casting eye will select them out.
Open Gmail, select all in inbox, scroll down casting eye, oh there is one, delete the rest, lol

I was hanging out for dapplr and then hivesigner gave me issues, lol so let it go, I must try again

I dont use a browser on my phone and what is instacart ??
