it is very much nice question , i have read in book that honey bee beat its wings very fast and there are many thought about its but i have read in books that honey bee flap mean beat its wing 200 to 230 time per second , its also depends on honey bee breed , some beats 230 and small honey bee beats 200 but some people say that there is no difference in big or small bee both beats 230 , but there is range 200 to 230 per scond, and 200 is over all , and 230 is for special bee also, thank you very much for this great question . hive is alive @russellstockley

honeysquaresm.pngHello @yousafharaoonkhan - Thankyou for your comprehensive answer - It is amazing at the difference between types

Why would a honey bee beat it's wings. She need them to fly. If they are all beaten up they won't work right.

honeysquaresm.pngHello @slackerman - Ha ha , I thought the very same thing when I was writing the question
Thank you for being an active member of the Swarm
Good Luck on the Honey pot

I was going to guess 100, but reading the comments below I see 230 seems to be the consensus.

honeysquaresm.pngHello @mytechtrail - i know right its double the guess

Hey! You're very buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy with Bee questions! My answer is..... 230! :D Ironically...this is how many questions my 8 year old can ask in a minute!

honeysquaresm.pngHello @jangle - ahh wait till they are 10 and you will get 500 a minute, take full advantage because when they hit 13 they slow down to about 1 a week :)
