Hi Eric, they have so many joints that it would be hard to determine which one was the Knee

Congratulations, @chmoen!

And I would say bees have something similar to knees...

I gues the angle of the bend would possibly determine if it is a Knee or not

Congratulations to @chmoen! Way to go :)

Actually, YES, bees DO have knees! They have segmented legs that consist of 6 different parts, basically held together by different joints, where one of them is actually referred to as "bees knees". 😉🐝

Learning more about them makes me have a deeper appreciation for them, for sure. 💛

Congrats to Christian for the win, and no bee's do not have knee's, they do have another kind of bending thing that is adapted to an exosceleton.

Congratulations @chmoen for the win today

Bees, like all insects, have six sections to their legs: the coxa, trochanter, femur, tibia, metatarsus and tarsus. Each is connected by a joint and the one most like a knee is between the femur and tibia. Bees have lots of other specialised structures on their legs to carry pollen, but the bee’s knee itself is no more remarkable than any of the other leg joints. Congrats @chmoen!

Do bees have knees? Is it just me or the rhyme just sounds nice. LOL! Apparently, bees do have knees as there are sections to their legs. Still, I think rhymes are so cool.

Happy weekend to all! :)

Congratulations @chmoen
Bees must have knees, the saying 'bee's knees' has been around for a very long time.

Congrats on winning the honey pot today @chmoen

Yes, bees absolutely have knees, they wouldn't have the saying if they didn't lol
