The best ice cream topping (besides sprinkles) is crushed M&Ms. The chocolate, the candy shell, and added texture. Is doesn't get any better than that. If you can't tell, I am a big proponent of "things" (nuts, cookie dough, butterscotch chips, caramel pieces, coconut, etc.) in my ice cream.
